“We found this tour an excellent compilation of destinations and attractions to get a better understanding of China. In Hongkong we would propose to look into a local offer of an afternoon Lantau @ monastery (self paid) instead of Macau (no interest in our group). Our tour leader Mark "Ma" was outstanding in his organisational and social skills and cultural and political knowledge. The local experts added to the fun we had. Hotels were very good to excellent. The hotel in Guilin should reorganize their breakfast, which was sometimes chaotic with the food supply. China Eastern provided excellent service and the other airlines in China where very good.. The Yangtze cruise and especially the Li river cruise met all our expectations (food on the Yangtze varied in quality) Congratulations to such an extraordinary experience for a more than a decent price. You might look into some facts with your descriptive material, like carry-on weights which were no problem at all and tags, which were not provided..”

“What SmarTours did was hire a very good guide in Paul. His driving ability was so good that it put us at ease on those narrow roads. He gave us a wonderful history of Ireland.. He was fun and we all felt that he went out of his way to make our visit to Ireland a pleasant one.”

“This was a beautiful trip. It was great staying in each hotel more than 1 or 2 days. Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. The only thing I did not like about this trip is that our group was too big. I have traveled with Smartours several times before and this was the first time that I have been with so many travelers (43). Our guide did a great job keeping all of us together, but I feel that all of us could have benefited from a smaller group. The extension to Eilat had 35 people and that was much better.”

“Our tour guide, “Oscar,” was terrific— knowledgeable and helpful, as was Ally our guide in Shanghai. The tour was busy, but with a variety of activities, from lunch in a local family’s home, to acrobatic show, to a foot massage! I also got to climb The Great Wall and see the Terra Cotta Warriors 😀”

“Adele on the Safari portion was fantastic.... Although we enjoyed both segments, Both hotels were comfortable, Would have enjoyed a few extra days in Capetown.. We thoroughly enjoyed the side tours. to The Cape of Good Hope and Langa Township.. The trip the Robin Island was memorable...”

“I enjoyed the guide, I enjoyed the members of the group and I loved seeing Egypt ... had been on my bucket list for a long time. I had a trip scheduled about 11 years ago and had to bail out because of health issues then I was just about to reschedule and the revolution broke out so have been watching for a chance ever since!”

“Best trip ever. A dream of a lifetime come true. We visited all the major sites accompanied by the most knowledgeable tour director--Khaled Lotfi, who with his assistants ensured a comfortable, first class experience. The coach, the hotels, the cruise on the Nile. They were there throughout, ensuring nothing disrupted our trip. We were well taken care and had a wonderful time. Khaled was so kind, warm hearted, and spirited that he generated a camradie amongst the group that enlivened the experience. Thanks Smartours. Thanks Khaled. Thanks Mohammed and Emil. You all were great.”

“The whole experience was wonderful, a superb plane trip, the Southern Sun Hotel, and the Hyatt Hotel both were the very best we could ask for. Our guide Mohammad was an awesome tour guide, very helpful, and informative. I have nothing to say that was bad, we could not have ask for anything or any BETTER!! Mattie”

“The Magical Ireland tour was a thorough tour of all of Ireland. The pace was good, well organized and great accomodations. The tour guide, Paul Kealy was exceptional and made the entire tour very immersive as it related to Irish history and culture. An exceptional guide!”

“The city tour guides were all fantastic. Very informative and all had a good sense of humor. The itinerary was great although I would have taken a pass of Vidin, Bulgaria and would have preferred 2 days in Bucharest. All the staff on The River Navigator was excellent. Loved the smaller boat and the capability to pass along the low level of the Danube, where larger boats were stopped and not allowed to continue on.”
