I purchased the earplugs, Minuendo, and the experience with the customer service team was horrible. I did get the refund in the end, fortunately, but going through all the inconvenience dealing with the confusing messages from the service team was something I never want to experience again. As for the item itself, the fit was uncomfortable. The overall design when actually seen was shoddy and toy-like. Some accessories were missing. But all that was better than the poor service quality afterwards. I hope this review helps anyone in a relevant situation.

I think I would give a 4.5, I just wish you could custom mold them. I am using these for an interesting situation. To hear lower wind and rumble noise in the cabin of my car (works superbly!) I use 1 flange because my ears are small so fits better, i tried all of them and all worked good. i wouldn't say its exactly flat, but its very good and sounds natural enough and doesn’t muffle too much. A trick in my Tesla is to turn the earbuds all the way closed so its rolling off the high end and reducing volume the most possible and then I eq the music in my car so it has more mids/highs - so effectively your decreasing the outside noise while increasing the music to sound natural and it works great. Love these and will save my hearing! Thanks! Great product.

It seems like a nice invention at first glance, but I didn't buy it because I play the violin and I know that in order to achieve a good sound, the muscles in your arms, wrists and hands have to be relaxed and loose. The vibrations from the metronome on your arm or wrist would cause the muscles in your whole body to tense up due to the (unexpected) buzz, causing an uneven sound from both the left and the right arm, wrist and hand. I suppose it could work better for other instruments but if thought through, I don't think it is the right thing for violinists.

I bought the Core Steel and it's been very useful for my practice. I used to hate rhythm practice, but with the Core Steel, rhythm practice became fun. I highly recommend this product to all musicians. The design is cool so I wear them every day.

The Core is well made, but it's primary function as a metronome is lacking for drummers. It's very easy to lose the little buzzes, even on the highest setting, when doing fills and playing aggressively. What's worse, I returned it to Sounbrenner and they STILL havent reimbursed me after a month! Soundbrenner screwed up the shipping to me in the very beginning. I had to let Soundbrenner know the Core was stuck at an UPS drop-off location because Soundbrenner neglected something. Soundbrenner doesn't seem to be very organized or customer-centric.
