I went to the Pudsey store in Leeds. Had ny eyes tested, and collected my glasses the week after. I could see better without them on. Went back and asked for a retest. The manager told me that the Optician said to reduce them a bit. ( a stab in the dark then) I went back again, only to find the same problem. I got a refund and went to an independent Opticians. It turns out my prescription was wrong! I will never go to them again. I've contacted their customer service team, as I want refunding for ny private eye test, as Specsavers wouldn't give me a new test, and the prescription was wrong. Disgusting company. I wouldn't go near them again. Only after your money, they don't care about your eyesight.

Absoloutely disgusted that you rip old people off by not telling them when they make a home visit appointment like my mum did that 2 people would be turning up , each charging £30 & then another £30 when she gets her glasses, so £90 already & then tell her she's got dry eyes & that's another £8 so a charge of £98 when an eye test costs £25 & being 88 she could have got the drops free from her doctors. You should be ashamed of yourselves ripping off poor vulnerable people. I have no problem with the price of the glasses but there is no mention of these chages on any of your adverts & I am taking this further.

Specsavers is just selling glasses, they never care about your eye. The business model is skewed towards milking their customers, selling services that does not benefit overall customer eye health. I am completely dissatisfied and disappointed after 4 visits of going in circles.

Booked eye test for hgv medical explained this on phone,was not advised that they charge £20.00 to fill in 7 short questions that simply confirm what I’m paying them to do already. 30 seconds to complete,that’s £240.00 an hour to complete basic questions that I pay them to find the answers to.

Went back as 2 pairs glasses ill fitting. Could not wear them. Was told to take a seat and someone would see me. Waited half hour as obviously staff were dealing with money spending clients. Ended up walking out and putting both pairs in dustbin outside branch. Felt totally let down. Never again.

I went in today to enquire about a pamphlet or info re contact lenses. While I waited 15 minutes for someone to search "upstairs" ( she came back with nothing) I counted TWELVE members of staff, half of which were just chatting to each other. REALLY??!!

I booked an appointment for an eye test due to a watery eye. I am 74 but they rang me and said I’m not due for a free eye test until 2 years from the last and I would have to pay if no change was found. I cancelled. Ridiculous.

I bought two pairs of reading glasses for £89. I had to replace a pair due to losing them. They advised it would be £100. I reminded them I had bought two for less. They then told me I could have two pairs for the £100. Just wondering if I hadnt questioned them about the cost would they have informed me I could have the two pairs. Not impressed Specsavers.

Home visit. Had my elderly parents glasses for 4 weeks now, no contact and no information. I have chased up this morning and told they are on the list for delivery tomorrow. Specsavers shop wouldn't help as nothing to do with them. Somehow I don't feel confident in that. Difficult phoning up, key pad options don't always work. Not good.

The optician changed my prescription by a tiny amount (i didnt know/understand the change) and they made me spend money on varifocals I did not need. Saw another optician who said i did not need new glasses unless my frames were worn. Never going back to specsavers :(

Made an appointment for an eye exam, I was refused the eye exam cause I refused to give them permission to use my personal information!!! Buyer beware!

Ordered 2 pairs of glasses . After 2 weeks still no sign . Unable to contact them on the phone so went to the shop . They blamed the recent school holidays for the delay in the delivery . I wasn’t aware it was kids that drive the delivery trucks . The wait continues

My loal specsavers is in Atherstone,i phoned to ask about my glasses that had been ordered waited 20 minutes gave up and rang again waited another 10 minutes then gave up

SpecSavers are simply useless. The arm broke off of my glasses , the third pair, and when I tried to get the frames to place the lens in they are telling me they no longer make them. The service with SpecSavers was poor from start to finish and this is just the cherry on the cake. After having two pairs of glasses that were not fit for purpose, I was then presented with a third pair that was marginally better. They took no responsibility for their lack of care to the customer. Short cutting the eye test procedure and lack of courtesy. I will certainly never darken their door again.

I have been trying for a month to have a problem with my new glasses or prescription corrected and I still have no solution. Terrible experience, I can't continue to use the new glasses.

Walked in asked to see titanium frames, young lady picked up plastic frames with titanium arms. Had to tell her they were not titanium frames, she didn’t know. Then asked for a magnifying glass they don’t to them. How do they expect people with glasses to look through a normal mirror. Never going in there again. Waste of time. Train your staff better oh, invest in magnifying mirrors, would help!

9:50 appointment in the Wrexham branch, but still waiting at 10:30. No feedback as to why there is a delay. So I gave up and booked with vision express, let's see if that's any different. If I am to spend hundreds of pounds with them I expect a bit of respect. Even if it's only an explanation as to why there is a delay (maybe someone has not turned up for a valid reason - sickness) and an estimate as to when I would be seen I can then make an informed desion as to wait, come back a bit later, or reschedule. But no, nothing from any of the staff. That's me done with Specsavers and I will not be giving them a good review to my colleagues. What a way to run a business.

Tottenham Court Road branch . So I had an appointment booked for 13.20 apparently! I arrived at 13.15 and was browsing and awaiting for my appointment. I ask reception and they told me to go upstairs . On arrival upstairs the optician said you are late ! It took me forever to get there . Offered me an appointment later in the day ?? Appalling customer service . I will take my business elsewhere. I am an old lady and I cannot see hence the need for glasses and genuinely thought it was 13.35 appointment not 13.20 !! There were so many of them ( staff ) standing around chatting on arrival . I spent over 20 minutes browsing trying on different frames and was waiting for them to stop chatting before I approached the reception desk ! Made me late to go upstairs and them denied me a service . I am so upset 😭
