“Been going to Specsavers since in my teen and was happy until lately .They move all the old staff to other branches .Now you have new staff that hardly know what the other one is doing .No messages or information left for other staff to check collection , or telephone conversation with customers for collections. Politeness is no longer in specsavers a few will say good morning. I was asked to try my glasses that i came to collect standing at the desk . When i asked where is the mirror we don't have one .I then advised the staff that they have cubical that you sit to try glasses on so he can see if it needed adjustment or fits fine. He then realise what i was saying so he then find a desk although their were about four empty desk available.Bring back some of the old staff to show these staff how it should be done. The eye test by the opticians i cant say a bad word they are good at there jobs.But staff need lot more training.When i leave that day i start thinking should i change. Phidd”

“A very convoluted pricing structure geared toward making you purchase two pairs of glasses. As a first time customer I didn't want to purchase two pairs so I wasn't able to maximize the potential savings. Pricing aside, the service was excellent. My "retail partner" Inga was excellent, even when the lenses had to be remade. She was knowledgeable, patient and very helpful. Overall, a good experience.”
“Ennis specsavers, Found majority of staff very nice and helpful, the optician was very cheerful and answered my questions he didn't rush me and took his time to explain, one staff member decided I had to pay for frames but I'm entitled to free as I'm an OAP plus T1 diabetic, she really needs a bit more training about entitlement, but apart from that it was a good experience, on the other hand trying to phone them regarding an appointment is awful, iv tried for 5 hours and no answer, surely that's not good customer care !”
“I went to Specsavers Goole and they were brilliant. I am.totally blind in my left eye and my right eye not brilliant. The gentleman who tested my eyes but menin contact with someone and they gave me a large magnifying glass and a small one to pop.in my handbag. Both these were really good. I cannot thank Goole Specsavers enough .all the staff in the shop are lovely. Anne walker.”
“Booked an eye test at sainsburys at Mansfield for next day at 11:10 am .My chest is bad and i have mental health problems so going was a struggle for me .Got there they told my wife no appointment .Go figure so i told them to stick it wont go back again”

“Called in at the Buxton store today to ask if they could fit my glasses properly after the fit I was left with was painful to wear. (Bought else where and after five return visits they still hadn't managed to fit my glasses correctly.)
Absolutely lovely response from specs savers staff, were completely happy to help.... Won't be returning to vision express despite their option to pay by monthly installments (which was the incentive to use them in the first place.) Staff appear to be trained at VE to ensure the initial sale but there after are both unable and not particularly interested in repairing any corrections needed. 'Well done on customer service 'specs savers!'”

The staff were friendly and very efficient without being impersonal.
my eye test was very thourough and the optician concerned was very good and explained things very well.
In addition, tje rest of the staff were very good.”
“We took our 8 year old daughter to the manchester fort store to choose some new frames. At first we were really frustrated at how long we had to wait. There was no one to help and it was annoying that the 1 member of staff who was free said she couldn't leave the front desk. But then we were assisted by Tom. He was amazing with our daughter and helped us choose the perfect frames. He took the time to explain why her lenses needed to be thinned out etc and we went away happy.”
“Went collect my glasses when tried on could not see out of them there was other customers with same problem my very focals where 4 mm out of position very poor service left specsave over 5 years ago for similar problem when back as I thought they had improved will not use again when glasses are fixed”
