“In my opinion there was a serious mistake in the assessment. The course was all about passenger ships. There was a question from which side lifeboats needed to be able to be launched at all times, which I answered with Both sides and which was assessed : WRONG. Please note passenger ships only need to have lifeboat capacity for 125% of all persons on board and therefore need to be able to launch all lifeboats at both sides, also in case of a list! That list may never exceed 20 degrees and they need to have special provisions to ensure this, even in case of sinking. So in my opinion I answered this question correctly, but your assessment is wrong!!! Freighters do not have this requirement, but therefore need to have sufficient lifeboat capaity for all pob on both sides, as in case of a severe list, the lifeboat(s) on the high side become unusable. “I have done few courses on your website. One of them was extremely long as you need to read the attachment reports in it. It was three. one of them it had more than 100 pages. I believe that it would be better to have a short resume of the subject then the questions. Some videos are really old and should be replaced with updated ones to become more appealing when watching. But overall is a good content and interesting.”
