“I appreciate the depth of information and knowledge imparted by the courses I experienced: Crowd Management, Crisis Management and Security Awareness. I was dismayed that my score was effected by several ambiguous questions that I am certain were answered correctly, but were scored incorrectly. There are also numerous small spelling, punctuation and other grammatical errors throughout the printed information in all three courses. Thank you for the content and the opportunity to train in these important areas of safety and security”

“We do courses on highspeed learning UK as well. Found that to be much user friendly than this. Revising needs to be made easier. There needs to be a icon to skip videos when revising. The practical did make you find out what you have to do but it took time off the chief officer. Also the ship is reluctant to share the ships security plan information in the questions. If the purpose is to ensure the learner knows what to do in the situation. it can be attained by multiple choice questions. try out the high speed learning and you can get an idea.”

Thank you for your review Herbert. The course Personnel with Designated Security Duties is approved by the Dutch Shipping inspection and accepted by the MCA. Not being able to skip a video is one of the requirements amongst others. I am sorry but we are not familiar with the company you mention. Safe sailing and hope to see you back! “some of the questions in the test did not reflect what was in the training. Had a feeling I must have missed some information as it was not in the training but was asked in the test.”
