“99% of the Course materials are excellent, there are occasionally some outdated items and some spelling mistakes. The courses are the best you can get without having a real human to question in-person. One advantage you get is that these courses are able to offer more supplementary material than is possible to cover in a face-to-face course and you can go through it in your own time (however fast or deliberate you wish to be) as well as go back to revisit the material as many times as you wish. I liked the use of videos in some of the course chapters, these are really where an online course should be focusing its efforts (eventaully making their own and or collating the best available things) in lieu of the chance for stories, questions and experiences offered by an instructor in a face-to-face course. The negatives? Only one: You have to pay extra for a physical certificate...Seafarers ALWAYS need a physical certificate so this annoyed me terribly!”

“The course is well organized. The only negative point is that when the answers are wrong the correct answer is not given, consequently the student does not know where the mistake was.”

“The course was direct and to the point, I loved that I could go through the materials at my own pace, cuts down a lot of time that would otherwise be spent with small talk and breaks in a 1 day class setting,”

“I Think the Course was from time to time a bit much. This more due the fact that I had no previews encounter to such a course. I hope that once im on bnoard, i never have to go through all of the scanarios that were given. Meaning, I hope my Ship will stay unharmed by such threaths.”
