I am so OVER this store. Ordered a dress and wanted to return it immediately so tried to contact them, a nightmare in itself. This has been going on for nearly 5 weeks to just get a return shipping label. All sorts of inane reasons were given. Finally I contacted my American Express to lodge a complaint, they were efficient as usual. At that point I finally got some response and was told they could do nothing while the dispute was alive, so I contacted Amex again and removed the dispute.NOW Steinmart claims it will take at least 21 days for the dispute being closed to show up for them! Should be immediately according to Amex. I warn all to be very careful about ordering. Loved this store when it was a actual brick and mortar, sorry to see such failure at online customer service.

Great store. Been shopping at the Pompano Beach and Coral Springs locations for 15 years. Spent $225.00 during their closing sale. When Loehmans went out of business 7 years ago, SteinMart should have obtained that demographics. Will miss shopping here!

Last week my mother and I spent time shopping in the Bonita Springs, Florida Stein Mart store. I am someone who is hard to fit with comfortable shoes and always dread that shopping day. This day was different because of a wonderful employee named Michelle. She was such a pleasant person and very dedicated to her customers satisfaction. She was determined to find the right shoes for me and she certainly found them and made it the best shoe shopping trip I've ever had! She is a true professional with an outstanding personality! When we were leaving the store, I told her store manager what a great employee Michelle is. Turns out the store manager is very impressive also! I will be returning to that store many times thanks to the super employees.

My husband an I were shopping there today and a customer service rep named Lynne was so helpful and so good for us - she certainly is one of the best!

Received a dress that cost $41.00, very pretty .. It did not look good on me! Went to return through the mail as no stores in my area, costs me $15.00 just to return the dress two days later! Way too expensive when other stores send a free shipping label. Not happy

I have shopped at stein mart in sunset hills for years. Recently management must have changed or something.... last 2 times I’ve shopped there I have had the rudest sales help. I won’t go back!

I bought 2 lamps and when I got them delivered they were great quality and they were nicer than I expected! Great homegoods dept! I loved the lamps!!

I bought a IHome Vanity Mirror from the Kenner Stein Mart. The store employee opened the box because I wanted to make sure the mirror was rose color as indicated on the box. It was and I left the box on the front counter with my name attached as I shopped. On Christmas when my granddaughter opened her present, the mirror was silver. It is very difficult to put this mirror back packed right in the box. WHO OPENED MY BOX and SWITCHED OUT the mirrors? It was in view of anyone who worked the registers. I have requested a call from Stein Mart’s District Manager. In 2019 I will stay far away from this Kenner Stein Mart. If you shop at this store, please keep your items with you as I am sure the other Stein Mart customers are going to say, well why did you let them talk you into leaving your mirror at the front register with your name on it, a rose colored mirror that is hard to find during the Christmas season. So, if you happen to have my rose colored mirror, and start having all kinds of problems in 2019, maybe it was not worth it switching the mirror. I will say my prayers for you. And Stein Mart, no need for the phone call. I just cannot imagine what explanation could be given for allowing someone to switch out a mirror because they wanted my rose colored mirror.

Stein Mart file bankruptcy and an investment firm bought them. Since re-launching their webstore, it's blatantly obvious there's been a change for the worse. Most of the merchandise has no brand name given and the prices are marked up too high which isn't how the old Stein Mart used to be. That's why there are many complaints after new ownership.

I ordered a robe for my father’s 90th birthday which was June 5th. While it arrived in time for me to give it to him, it had the security device still attached and so it couldn’t be gifted. I had to scramble to order a gift from a different company since I didn’t have time to do an exchange. When I first called customer service I explained the situation and was given a free return shipping label, which was expected. I also asked for the original shipping cost be refunded since I received merchandise that I couldn’t use. That didn’t happen, so I called customer service once again and was told I’d be issued a refund. It’s been almost 2 weeks and I’m still waiting. Unfortunately, my first shopping experience with Stein Mart will be my last. And the only reason I rated it 2 stars is because the customer service people were extremely nice.

Everything is fine - except cashier #930906704 at Steinmart #279. She’s a negative, aggressive person who has no business in this position. I’ve complained via email about her to the company.

Made a $119.00 purchase. Asked the clerk if there were any coupons available for my Friday puchase. Answer was no. Get home check my mail box and there is the $10 off coupon. Take my puchase back to the store on Sat. The argumentative clerk says no to giving me my $10 discount. Says they must return the merchandise to the sales floor. Can't rering it. Get a manager involved and I get my $10. But there is also a $10 coupon for Sat. She will only give me the $10 for the Sat coupon. They certainly don't know what is fair to a customer. When I specifically asked the clerk on Fri if there were coupons. She then tells me u can get them on your phone..ok why wouldn't you tell the customer this when they are asking about coupons. They are definitely not into customer service like their competitors of Kohls and Macys. Beware if u are shopping there. Not a good experience especially dealing with a clerk who has an attitude.

Today is 11/15/19. I just received the sale flyer that ended 11/11/19. If you are paying someone to mail these you are getting ripped off. So am I in that I am not able to take advantage. Pop

I have been a customer of Stein Mart for many years because of the high quality and prices. How ever I have seen such a drastic decline in the quality and styles and really cheap material. This is such a let down for me. I well be shopping else where :(

Stein Mart prices have continued to increase more and more. When a no brand blouse is on clearance and it's still $44, there's a problem. Stein Mart will need to be more competitive on their prices if they want to keep business.
