“I am a graphic designer that outsources print. I have never left a negative review before this one.
I was initially quoted 7-10 working days for a small order. This was OK as it was for a friend who had a bit of time. I had a feeling the Stickythings order was going to be longer so I ordered the same print run elsewhere. It turned up well before the Stickythings order, which arrived after 15 working days.
The Stickythings order was not opened for a few weeks (to avoid any possible damage to the print) as the other run was being used. When it was opened, it was clear it was short. 2 x 500 labels were ordered which were to be used on tins (one label on top, one on the bottom) The top looks fine quantity wise but the bottom label was missing around 350 labels. So only c.150 tins could be completed. This makes the labels used incredibly expensive per unit! I even pointed out that the packaging the order was sent in looked unlikely to be able to hold the correct quantity.
I raised the issue with Stickythings and have received nothing but fob - off replies…. I’ll check with Matt; I’ll get back to you asap blah blah blah.
I’ve been holding off writing this as I don’t like to publicly knock businesses and hoped they would at least communicate with me. But it’s always me chasing them and as we approach 6 weeks since I raised the issue, my patience has worn thin. It is clear they have no intention of trying to resolve this.
What’s so frustrating is this whole rigmarole could have been very easily rectified by sending out a few hundred labels. Which let’s face it, wouldn’t cost much in terms of materials. I’m not even asking for a reprint that would add to costs. I’m just looking to receive what was paid for. Though I’m sure it will be viewed as my fault for not checking the order immediately....
I would strongly advise anyone looking to order from Stickythings to think twice. They are good at taking money but truly awful to deal with if you have any issues.”
“Never come across such company before. You order and get very little idea of when your order is due to arrive. then it takes long to hear from them when you reach out. Once they respond, they let you know of this horendes 4 week expected turnaround, and giess what, for one reason or another, the order actually arrives only after 7 weeks since the order was placed.
If you know that it will take 7 weeks and are ok with that, it's another thing, but I didn't know that when ordering. I long had to order elsewhere and this order is now redundent.”
“Not the quickest delivery, ordered 6th December, and delivered 15th January not quite 7 - 10 day turnaround as stated on the delivery tab but Christmas may have been a delay. I did message and the response was quick. Easy to use art set up so thats a bonus, quality was ok, time will tell if the print lasts the environment we are using them in.”
“Terrible communications. I placed an order (#852079), uploaded the artwork and paid for design review. The proof returned was really bad. I asked for a refund and the line went dead. It is now the third day since I asked for a refund. I will have to go via my bank to get my money back.”
