“Great service and quality”

“I ordered a pair of shoes and received them pretty quickly. I live in the US so the fast shipment was nice. The shoes are great and the price was really good. The only problem was I did not receive any tracking information on the package. So with the possibility of having to sign for the delivery I pretty much had to stay around the house so I wouldn't miss the delivery. A little bit of an inconvenience but was able to receive package on time I guess.”

“Overall a good service. I've ordered a few things and all have been delivered quickly. I was just dissapointed with an expensive Baracuta jacket I bought. It just came in a plastic bag. No tissue or box. At £340 I expected it to be packed better than it was.”

“Deducting one star because the laces on my left shoe arrived with loose threading that sticks out, and it's too expensive to exchange for a flawless pair. Wish they had checked prior to shipping. Otherwise great.”

“Happy with the service, unfortunately the Birkenstocks were too small - my fault, I bought a half size smaller than usual. Yes, I had to pay postage to return them, but I knew this and it is to be expected from an independent company. Had they fitted they’d have been a bargain, and had they had my size in stock I believe I could have had a free return to exchange them. My refund went through promptly and communication was good.”

“I have no complaints about Stuarts. Good product (see below), prompt service. About the product: I bought a Shetland wool crew-necked sweater (jumper). What's good: Quality wool, nice colour, garment properly dimensioned/proportioned, and properly stitched/pieced. What's not so good: Sweater has been brushed to give it a soft fuzzy surface, which is OK. However, it's been heavily brushed, to such a degree that I expect it to begin to pill after not having been worn all that much. Why I bought from Stuarts: It's become nigh impossible to find a quality Shetland wool sweater in the USA anymore. They're all made in China, they're poorly dimensioned, the wool is of poor quality (short staple fibers; sweater sheds and pills quickly), and they shrink badly after the first washing (even when washed in cold water). Stuarts size chart included product lay-flat dimensions and the text suggested the customer should measure an existing sweater that fits properly to ensure the correct size is selected. That was useful mail-order guidance.”
