I purchased a Dyson cordless stick vacume, it quit working and they will not contact me. Called Dyson and they said it is not a Dyson serial Nu. I had two vacuum cleaner repair shops to work on it and the Dyson part they ordered won't fit it. Do not do business from Teco buy. They seem to be a fraudulent bunch of crooks from Hong Cong.

Purchased a set of Dyson Corrale Straighteners in November 2020 for a Christmas present for my partner. Seemed okay and arrived eventually in time for Xmas. Tried to register them and activate the warranty with the serial number on the Dyson website only to be told the serial number does not exist , phone Dyson and they confirmed this also and also suggested that I send the straighteners to them so as they can examine them, I did this and 3 weeks later I received a letter from them confirming that they were counterfeit goods and had been disposed of. £357 spent for nothing. Best advice I can give is avoid this scamming company that is not even based in the UK but in fact based in Hong Kong to avoid extreme disappointment, anger and getting ripped off and always go direct to manufactures official website. NEVER AGAIN !!!

Scammers. I bought a Samsung phone. It showed "in stock" on their website, so I went ahead with the purchase. They said that I would get a tracking number within 2-4 days. 2 weeks later, no news of the phone. I emailed them and their reply was " Thank you for your email. We write this message to confirm that your order has gone through and is being processed as of right now, please kindly note that once this stage has been completed, your order will be shipped and a tracking link will be provided to you for your reference". Another week went on and emailed again. Their response was "We are very sorry to inform you that our stock replenishment has been delayed. We will get back to you as soon as we have confirmed the delivery date". However, on their website, the phone was still in stock. Now a month after the purchase, I emailed them for the 3rd time and did not have an answer. 5 days later, I raised a complaint with Paypal and got my money back. Time wasters.

Trustpilot reviews Categories Blog My Reviews My Settings Help LOG OUT Sarah Kyle GB For businesses Your review counts! You reviewed Tecobuy Add photo Sarah Kyle 1 review 1 star: Bad Updated just now No phone but also no refund I ordered and paid for a phone 3 months ago. After months of me emailing weekly I have now been offered a £10 refund as compensation (not even 5% of the cost) as apparently it was lost by the courier. Prior to being lost it also took almost a month to dispatch despite payment being taken immediately. They will not give me a refund as it was being sent by standard shipping therefore not insured. If they were a UK company then I would be able to get a full refund (as I should) as contract with seller not courier and covered by Consumer Rites act. Sadly this does not apply. Seperately the customer service has been appalling. I would not reccomend this company to anyone, even though you may get a bargain it is simply not worth the risk.

The most awful company ever, with worthless Returns policy. I researched TecoBuy before ordering a Samsung phone. Many of the reviews were about delays in delivery and them not being a UK company, despite adding UK to their name, which is a bit misleading to start with. They are based in Hong Kong and it takes 10 days or so for parcels to arrive, which is what they tell you in the small print. What they don’t tell you is that they source the phones from multiple countries and are therefore set up for that country’s language, including the initial screen. In my case it was Vietnamese. I managed to find the right ‘button’ to get to a list of language choices and chose English UK. That made most things readable except the calendar was prepopulated with lots of Vietnamese events, written in Vietnamese with a bright red highlighted back ground. Spotify also came up in Vietnamese. I was concerned about what else was going to be foreign and decided to return it under their 30day refund guarantee as they could not give any advice on how to correct these issues. Getting a refund was impossible! They have to authorise a return first, required a factory reset and stated the phone had to be undamaged. After reset I took lots of pictures to show no damage, before very safely packaging it for despatch. *Be warned, most courier companies regard mobile phones as A PROHIBITED ITEM and will not accept them, despite the fact they delivered it in the first place! Royal mail was fine. TecoBuy acknowledged safe receipt after another 10 days or so and then wanted my Google account and Password(?), claiming they needed it to unlock the phone. I challenged the need for this and they decided they didn’t need it after all! There were lots of messages backwards and forwards over many weeks before they claimed it was damaged, but without saying how or where. I requested photos which they sent showing a scratch on the back cover. I sent my photos of the same area showing no damage. They refused to accept this proof. They insisted the phone was damaged and refused a refund. They demanded £32 to send it back, or they would just keep it. I had to pay this and the phone eventually arrived back with me after another 15 days or so. All this had taken months. I checked the phone for the damage they had sent pictures of and there was nothing there. No damage! Whatever they had taken pictures of, it was not my phone! I messaged them about this stating they had falsely refused a refund as the phone was undamaged. They completely ignored this claiming it was damaged and just closed the case. There was nothing I could do to get the refund and all the postage cost me another £60 or so in top of the purchase price. They are not UK based and our consumer protection laws do not apply. My experience shows they are either dishonest or incompetent. BE WARNED – SHOP ELSEWHERE.

AVOID THIS COMPANY Although they portray themselves as a UK company, and claim a warranty workshop based in UK on their web page, this is a lie. ALL WARRANTY CLAIMS MUST BE RETURNED TO HONG KONG AT BUYER'S EXPENSE. And since it is ILLEGAL to send used batteries in the post overseas, effectively their warranty is worthless.

This company should be regulated. This is a fake company. Never deliver product. Just receive money. Why this company is not punished by a government?

I ordered an iPad mini, they sent me an email when they said they had shipped it, then another with details of delivery date by DHL. It never arrived, DHL said they were totally unaware of it, and Tecobuy wouldn’t answer the numerous emails I sent. Total scam company. Luckily I was refunded by Halifax bank credit card.

I bought a Samsung phone for $535. It was defective. I live in the USA and it would cost $125.00 to ship to Hong Kong because it has a lithium battery. They won't replace it, only try to repair it and if they can't will not give me a full refund. they are crooks!

I got catched by saving 10£ ;( Ordered Samsung A52 5G, Insted of waiting 7-9 days i was waiting 3 weeksto arrive and phone came and appeared extremely laggy i don't factory faulty or what was it but my 2 year old phone performed better. So i contacted the for return for refund as was extremely upset with phone, they send me return lable they got the phone back, they said they tested phone is okay and claimed they found scatches on it( i used it around 1h or so its immposible, i;m very gentle with new items) and we cannot issue a refund and even if i want to get phone back now i hate to pay 72£ for return and pickup fee lol. So i escalate dispute to PayPal, hope it will give some lessons for them. Most disgusting service i ever expirience
