“My family and I just purchased our fourth trillium. This time we went with the XL to accommodate all five of us. As soon as we opened it, we put it up and enjoyed being in the trees for several hours. I have been extremely pleased with all of the trilliums we have purchased. I am a forest kindergarten teacher and I take the trilliums to the woods at school and stack them three high for the kiddos! Each kiddo has to pass the challenge of being able to flip off the bottom level before they can go to the second level. Once they are able to do the flip, they have to be able to get onto the second level by themselves. The only way they can get on the third level is if an adult in up there. We have had several “meet me in the forest” outings where the parents get to come out and play. The trilliums are always the main attraction! Not only are the trilliums a fun way to enjoy the outdoors, they have also helped my personal kids and my students work on their bilateral coordination, their proprioception, and their vestibular sense. In a world so focused on game systems, kids do not get outside and test their limits as much, which doesn’t seem like it would make a difference in their everyday lives, but it does! Children need that type of input to help with balance, coordination, and it even helps with their ability to focus. Children need to be outside enjoying and appreciating nature! I can’t wait to see how my students enjoy the XL!! We might be able to get half of the class on one!!”

“The quality of the tent and materials were good and sturdy. I was disappointed in the overall "height" provided in the Flite and the overall comfort of getting in and out of the tent. With a sleep system (pad) and a pillow, your very close to the top of the tent while lying down. The clearance is minimal yet videos/pictures convey a far more open dome. Its not really possible to "sit" in it without touching the ceiling. I'd highly recommend a third bar and or design that allows for more headspace/larger dome which would give more comfort and usability to the tent very just being a VERY flat, low ceiling trampoline.”

“Only set up 3 person Safari once but it is easy to set up. Well made and look forward to using it in the spring. Only complaint is that the tent should have two bags , one for tent and smaller one for asessories and spare pieces.”

“Brilliant products, I've now got two hammocks as one wasn't enough. The quality is there compared to similar products you can get elsewhere. The biggest factor is Tentsile hammocks are very comfortable and why else would you buy a hammock? On the Trillium we managed to sleep 5 kids in it with one adult, everyone had a great night's sleep - fantastic!”

“I am surprised and very happy with the product that I bought. the quality is surprisingly good. Everything is thought and designed perfectly. But there is a terrible detail with the insect mesh that, unfortunately, opens with any movement allowing mosquitoes to enter the tent. It is necessary to improve and resolve that detail to achieve perfection. Congratulations and keep up creating and designing more wonders!”

“Purchased 2 tents both had perished rain flys. Admittedly that’s likely the responsibility of the retailer, however as good as ignored by tentsile despite 5 emails to them. I get pretty much daily promotional emails from Tentsile but nothing from the warranty team after 2 months. Not satisfactory.”

“Our 6 person hammock tore down the middle with our young kids in it one year after we put it up. When I told the company about what happened they told me the warranty is only good for 12 mos. from the date of purchase and they couldn’t do anything for me….not even discount a new one. A $500 hammock should last more than a year in my opinion. Not worth the money or the danger of putting young kids in it. Apparently we should all plan to buy a new $500 hammock every 12 months because they only last that long!”

Hi Molly, Thank you for your review however I would like to point out that you have had the hammock since 2019 set up in your back yard, The photos you provided of the damage show that there is UV damage to the fabric and as stated in our manuals the UV exposure is 1500UV hours. We also state that all hammocks and tents should be taken down every 3 months. I offered you to recycle your hammock rather than send to landfill using our program and we would provide you with a 20% discount which can be used in the current sale making it a total of 30% discount. I am sorry that you feel we have not tried to help you however I have done everything I can to help you.

“I've been camping in a Tentsile Safara 2p connect for about 40 nights over the last 5 months. So far it has been bombproof. The quality of construction is well worth the price. With the Klmet slapping pads, it nearly like sleeping on a cloud. I've been using the Tentsile tent4 on one site, so I haven't had sussing out tree configurations often. I have been sufficiently impressed with the quality of Tentsile products, I've been an additional Safari Connect and a Safari 3p Stingray for guests.”

“I discovered Tentsile some time ago and was very intrigued by their concept. Finally, I decided to give them a shot and ordered a Trillium XL just to put in the backyard. The kids loved it. The neighbor kids did too. All 6 of them get on it. We are fortunate to have a large yard with lots of trees so I kept trying to find ways to get the kids outside and away from electronics. They have a zip line, a ropes obstacle course and some boulders to climb on. The hammock is their favorite thing. So I ordered a Safari Stingray stack to hopefully be able to take the family on a camping trip to our mountain property. There is a stream with a small waterfall so I want to stretch the tent and hammock across it. Looking forward to spring. Both my orders shipped quickly and the products all appear to be very well made. 6 kids at once is a good test. It may be rated for 6 adults, but adults don't play on them like kids do!”

“Overall I'm pleased with my stingray. Definitely more comfortable than the ground (but a bit less than a gathered end hammock). My kids love it, it has a lot of novelty value. The straps reach longer than I had anticipated and everything seems well made. My only complaint is that in "storm mode" the fly touches the inner screen and when there's condensation, it's hard to avoid getting it on your sleeping bag.”
