While the concept is very cool, sleeping in the tent with 2 people is very bouncy and wakes you up when the other person moves. We haven’t slept with 3 in the Stingray. I don’t think it would be comfortable. The netting is great, no bugs get in and it’s great to hang out during the day to rest and read. The roap ladder is tricky to climb up.

Bought a Stingray for my family of two adults and two kids aged 4 and 7. It was specified as having a capacity of 3 people or 2 adults and 2 kids. I am not sure how that is going to work since the kids seem to roll on top of each other and towards the centre. The instructions said the bottom straps are calibrated at the factory but we needed to adjust them bottom straps after the first night to prevent everyone from rolling to the center. Overall I think the product is great for 3 people but I'm not sure yet if it can fulfil the promise of fitting two adults and two kids.

Thanks for the feedback! Really appreciate it. Yes, it can be tricky getting it just right on the first and second go. Our Tentsiles do come with lots of learning at the start. It took me an hour the first time to get it right, but once I became more 'expert' we managed to get all five of us in! (2 adults and 3 small children!). Keep trying; play with the straps (getting as tighter as possible) and the calibration (only minor adjustments should be necessary). Also, it's nice to put a Trilliujm underneath for all the bags, so the Stingray is reserved just for duvets and pillows to be nice and cosy! That way everything is off the ground, and if you put some Walls around the side, you are protected from the wind too! The tent is great - and the delivery was fast. Hwoever, it was packed wrong, so I got different straps than was intended. Hence 3/5. If I’ had gotten the right parts with the same quality tent and delivery, I would leave 5/5!

Pas très facile à installer, il faut trouver des arbres adaptés et pour 2 personnes ça fait un creux au milieu

Great idea for a product. Set up was easy. Good customer service. I'm under the impression now after owning it for the summer and fall, that it's more or less a novelty item. Not really built to last. The aluminum poles have to go.. Switch to graphite or something else. Poles keep breaking with no harsh weather. It's a super cool item to show off with. Not made to last IMHO.

Great hammocks and accessories a little bit overpriced for what you get I think they're worth about half of what is being charged when the prices come down on the tree tents will make purchases

We bought the Safari Stingray 3.0. It broke the very first and only time we used it. A metal key came out of the buckle system. I found it on the lawn tbe small springs are lost. We in now way abused it. I am an engineer and am careful with my possesions. For the money soent, it is disaapointing tbat I have to try to fix it or retuen it.

Hi Tensile team I slept in the tent and loved it. Unfortunately the quality was not as promised and there were faults in the stitching which you acknowledged but you only replaced the rain fly not the other faulty parts. Dealing with your customer service was actually quite pleasant. I have now decided to upgrade to a safari model And have sent back the entire tent and replacement rainfly. Let’s hope the quality of the safari this time is better. I had a safari model before that I ordered through wild earth here in Australia, unfortunately that one was also faulty but again The wild earth people where really nice to deal with and refunded it and totally agreed with the complaint. Fingers crossed the next try will just be perfect. I am really looking forward to it. Don’t let sloppy manufacturing ruin a fantastic product. If this works you will get awesome pictures from Down Under, offering some of the remotest areas and most stunning landscapes of this planet. I purchased the connect, after waiting to buy it since they came out. Ultimately, I wish I spent a little more money and got the stingray. The tent itself is high quality, but the accessories are a bust. The zipper on the bubble broke on the first night, and there’s multiple toggles that don’t go anywhere. The instructions are poor. The tent walls I bought for the bubble don’t work well with the connect either - same situation as the bubble, there’s toggles that don’t fasten anywhere. The connect feels pretty bouncy and my partner and I rolled towards the center even though we tighten the center. I hate that you have to climb in from the side - I would exchange it for the stingray just because the entrance is in the middle. Speaking of exchanges, is there any way I can send it back to get the stingray instead?

I would love to give the company as a whole 5 stars but I can't. I can give the tent 500 stars though. Shipping and receiving departments need a better system with communicating with their customers I received my tent within the allocated time from my order date, but didn't receive a tracking number until 2 days after I received my tent. The tent it's self is amazing I have used it 3 times now and slept like a baby each time. But be warned follow the instructions carefully. Make sure the ratchet is in the lock position or you might have a rude awakening.

J’adore les produits Tentsile : la qualité, la diversité et les prix sont abordables et justifiés. Cependant, le service à la clientèle laisse à désirer : souvent aucune nouvelle sur l’état de nos commandes. Le délai de livraison est souvent très long et parfois sans nouvelle, et on doit communiquer avec la compagnie. Aussi, sur 5 commandes, 4 d’entre elles n’avaient pas le bon item ou item manquant.

The tree tents from Tentsile are really cool and high quality. Unfortunately my last order was a replacement for a defect tent, and this order got affected by unexpected delays, so it took about 3 months to receive it (and I did not receive any information from customer service about any delays out of the ordinary 28 days shipping time). I was also several times in contact with customer service to avoid getting double-taxed for the replacement, and even after several reminders and being assured they would take care of it, they did apparantly not know how to do it properly as I got this extra charge.. Tentsile has promised to solve the situation, but I spent quite a lot of time dealing with all this extra issues so the customer service did not meet the expectations this time.

Dear Madam ans Sirs, it is normally not my style but since you ask, please find my comments below. I am a fan of your product and marketing. However, I must admit that you made my christmas quite sad. No presents arrived in time. I made a big order and the communication was terrible. First I purchased something in the shop which I was not available, then I paid more and the goods did not arrive. No communication, although I rechecked once in a while. The order fulfillment was not good. With better communication the delivery problems could have been eased at least from the satisfaction point. Best regards, Hubertus Rump

I like the ideas you guys have on innovting camping. I ended up returning my order because I never got it out of customs. It was in holding for quite a while, and nobody notified me on it's status and what to do.

The tent is awesome, but shipping process was chaotic. I got wrong parts and incomplete shipping notices. Customer service was always responsive when I reached out. It took much longer than the projected shipping time to get my products.

I should have researched more, but I didn't realize with the Stingray tent I purchased the 3 trees needed to make it work have to form a perfect equilateral triangle, otherwise one side of the tent sags. Tried using it on the ground but the tent is so small you can't even sit up in it when fully assembled.

Great product that in itself is worth 5 stars without question, but shady service and it saddens me deeply to say it. I usually leave no feedback instead of negative feedback. Maybe they are spread too globally to effectively manage the company. Corona is having an additional effect but that’s additional, not what I’m referring to. Also, when inviting customers to review their products they entice you to leave good feedback on the promise of a chance at getting the cost of your order returned if they pick your review out of ‘the best’ ones. Safe to say, honesty doesn’t pay!
