“I would have liked to seen more transparency with listings. I ultimately bought the Cartier Tank Anglaise but had to dive alot deeper into the details to get enough information, before making a decision. There was also a conflict using Chrono24's escrow service or buying direct from the 1916 Company. I was steered away from using Chrono24's escrow service to buy direct for, yet to be explained reasons.? Ultimately I was satisifed with the transaction sans some minor details.”

“A few weeks ago, I stopped into The 1916 Company and met Derek Medina. We connected immediately and spent some time discussing a few Rolex models that my wife and I had been searching for. As anyone familiar with Rolex knows, the next step is usually getting on a waitlist and settling in for what can often be a very long wait. I left expecting it might be months before I heard anything. Instead, less than two weeks later, Derek called and told me he had a yellow gold Rolex GMT-Master II available with my name on it. Needless to say, I was shocked. I went in right away and completed the purchase, but what stood out even more than the watch was the experience. Derek was professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely excited to help. He made the entire process enjoyable and effortless. Luxury retail is ultimately about relationships, and Derek understands that. He didn't just sell me a watch; he created an experience that makes me look forward to doing business with him again. A first-class experience from start to finish.”

“Overall, very pleased with the experience. The Fashion Island 1916 is my home shop and Chris helped me out. I will be looking to buy my watches and jewelry from 1916 moving forward. On that note, I am on the wait list for 3 Rolexes and would love to be able to get a call on them sooner rather than later.”

“My experience working with the sales associate, August, was an absolute pleasure. He was incredibly easy to work with, attentive, and accommodating throughout the entire process. We purchased a watch for my son's college graduation, and it arrived within just two days of purchase. It was beautifully gift-wrapped and included a thoughtful personalized note from August congratulating my son on his accomplishment. That extra touch made the gift even more special. The level of customer service and attention to detail exceeded all expectations. I would gladly give August six stars if it were allowed!”

“I recently purchased a Rolex Sea-Dweller, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations from start to finish. The watch was exactly as described—if not better. The condition, authenticity, and attention to detail were outstanding, and it was clear that they take tremendous pride in the watches they sell. Communication throughout the process was prompt, professional, and transparent. Every question I had was answered thoroughly, and I never felt pressured at any point. Buying a luxury watch can sometimes be intimidating, but they made the process enjoyable and completely stress-free. The Sea-Dweller itself is absolutely incredible and has quickly become one of my favorite pieces. It’s obvious that customer satisfaction is a top priority here, and that level of service is becoming increasingly hard to find. If you’re considering purchasing a watch from them, do it with confidence. This was one of the best buying experiences I’ve had, and I can say without hesitation that I’ll absolutely be purchasing another watch from them in the future. Highly recommended!”

“Let me start with this simple statement: Carlos made it happen for me, and I cannot recommend him and Rolex Scottsdale by The 1916 Company highly enough. I had been searching for this specific Rolex for nearly two years and had visited every Rolex authorized dealer in Arizona. Throughout that process, I often felt like I was not being taken seriously as a buyer, especially because I almost always brought my daughters with me. For me, this watch is much more than a luxury purchase. I have always dreamed of owning a Rolex, and I wanted my girls to be part of the experience. My hope is that one day this watch becomes a family heirloom, and they will remember not only that their dad wore it, but that they helped him choose it. When we visited Rolex Scottsdale, Carlos immediately made us feel welcome. He treated my entire family with genuine warmth and respect. To my surprise, they had my grail watch available to view, and after hearing the story behind why it meant so much to me, Carlos told me he thought he could make it available that day. I was stunned. What happened next is what truly set this experience apart. Carlos brought my family into the Rolex room and made my daughters part of the entire process. He engaged them in the conversation and helped create a memory that all of us will carry for years to come. After two years of searching and seriously considering the grey market, Carlos made it happen. More importantly, he made my first Rolex purchase feel truly special. If you are looking for a Rolex and want an experience that is every bit as memorable as the watch itself, ask for Carlos.”
