“August was patient polite and professional. He answered my questions and insured me that I was making the right purchase. Because the purchase was late on Friday on Labor Day weekend , the sale was completed before close of day and he called first thing Tuesday and sent me the sales receipt and arranged shipping thru Fed Ex. My watch arrived 11:00 Thursday September 4. So far,so good!”

“I have been a shopper at and a customer of, first Govberg, and now The 1916 Company for many years. In that time I have had nothing but great experiences. Everyone I have encountered there is knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. More specifically, I have worked with Victoria on all my purchases; and even on my shopping long before I was ready to make my first "real watch" purchase. That's been over 10 years now and I cannot recommend her highly enough. And, in fact, I have recommended her, and 1916 in general to several friends looking for a watch and fine jewelry retailer. I earnestly look forward to continuing my watch collecting journey with them.”

“Mike Juliana and Theresa Turner at your Ardmore location are a dream team. I already wrote an email to Mr. Shmerler and store manager Ryan Spalding complementing their level of customer service, but I can’t rave about these two enough. I have been in the luxury retail space for over a decade managing some of the best sellers and personal stylists in the industry, and Mike and Theresa are the type of duo every leader dreams of having on their team. “I had the joy of purchasing a Rolex Cerfied Pre-Owned Milgauss with The 1916 Company recently and the entire process was seamless and happened so quickly. I am thrilled with the condition i received the watch in, and shipping was extremely fast. I had purchased another watch at the same time but ended up needing to return it, my sales person sent me a label and I was able to have a smooth return at the same time. Highly recommend.”
