Utterly disappointed by this vendor. They accepted my order, took my payment and later, after wasting my time, told me that they don't have the stock!! Highly unprofessional. Will never order anything from them. I wish there were anything poorer than one star.

Asked for a price match as found light cheaper on another site but was refused for some strange reason that the other retailer was not advertising the correct RRP price. This should have raised a red flag but went and ordered anyway. Not impressed took payment on day I ordered it but a week later was still waiting delivery. Cancelled order and shopped elsewhere got same product with next day delivery for a few pounds more. Would not recommend the HLC very poor service.

Not customer service friendly ordered 3 light fitments one arrived broken.Not willing to replace unit just an arm for us to fix ourselves. Would not buy again from these people

Not impressed. Ordered wall lights, was given a delivery date...then asked what shade colour l had ordered. Then told my order would not be delivered until the following week. 10 days after ordering. Now have to pay electrician again to come back out and wire them in....

You supplied the wrong lights. The order confirmation showed an image and described the lights that I wanted to buy. I then telephoned your office to confirm that you were supplying the correct fitting and was reassured- even though I reported that the manufacturers were out of stock. Having discovered you supplied the wrong item I telephoned to report it and the agent was rude and unhelpful. So unhelpful that I asked to speak to the manager who was even ruder and refused to accept that there had been misrepresentation of the goods supplied, albeit unintentional. Dealing with your company has been a wholly unsatisfactory and unpleasant experience.

Purchased 2 x 368/6634 Ranex Stainless Steel Outdoor Light with Motion Detector. Both very solid construction. First light no problem, but 2nd light has screws holes in front aluminium plate not aligned straight such that if I were to use a level for the screw holes the light would be aligned off vertical by +30 degrees (5 past 12 o'clock) OR if I were to align the light vertical the screws would be -30 degrees off vertical (5 to 12 o'clock). This is a Quality control issue. I telephoned the company and they promised to call me back, but didn't.

A week has past - item not dispatched. No idea when it’s going to arrive. Perhaps you should send the product I have paid for before asking for a review.

Don't buy from this company!!!! 3-5 working day delivery was promised but it was never delivered so I had to buy the lights from another place (much better price and quality). I obviously cancelled the order with them but it has been more than 3 weeks and no refund has been done yet!!!!! I am the one who needs to call and chase up the status!!!!! They are not even prepared to apology for what they have done! All they say is it's the curriers fault!!!! VERY UNRELIABLE COMPANY AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICES!!!

The Home Lighting Centre offer up to 4% cashback through Quidco. Don't use them they don't pay out. It has taken them over 6 months to get back to me with that decision. Can't decide whether it is Quidco or Home Lighting that are the crooks

This company lied to me about the supply of a light. I was told that it would be with me in 3-4 days and a week later I am being told that it is made to order and they cannot give me a delivery date. USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

One of the lights was delivered damaged. I got in touch with THLC immediately and despatched an email as advised. Was promised a call back and as yet I have heard nothing. No email reply and no call. Extremely disappointing service
