Lack od detail on lights being sold ie no lumen output or amp rating. Then sent only 2 lamps rather than 3 ordered and paid for then despite 2 phone calls and 2 emails I am just ignored One very dissatisfied customer

The webpage does not show you the true status of their stock! I ordered a ceiling light, the advert said dispatched within 24 hours. I get a message couple of days later saying that they are going to refund because they are out of stock and don't yet have a replenish date. Meanwhile, their website still says 'dispatched within 24 hrs' for the same item.

Unfortunately you did not have stock and the product was charged and refunded (I hope) to my credit card.

Absolutely rubbish you canceled my order without even giving me any kind of reason just that your annoyingly named fulfilment team said no. It would have been nice to have been given a reason or alternative

Sold me a light, which was in stock, but then when I was expecting delivery, I was let down being informed that it was now out of stock, and my money would be refunded..... Disappointed.

Did not say item was out of stock but when I contacted customer services a week AFTER my delivery was supposed to arrive, I was told it was out of stock. Without my consent, my order was cancelled and refunded, even though I wanted the order! So disappointed and this was my first order too. Very bad impression.

This store does not bother to check their stock or whether products are even discontinued so beware you may be dissappointed when you order a product that they have live in their websit only to be later emailed that it is discontinued.

My order for two wall lights was accepted and money was taken electronically on 7 October. I then got an email saying the goods were no longer available (with no explanation). It is a week later and I still haven't been credited with the money paid.

I would strongly advise against using this company. I ordered an £80 light shade that was delivered with rust damage. I sent two emails and called to explain that the item was faulty and that I wanted to return it. Eventually, I received an email asking me to post the item to the address they provided. As you would expect from an online retailer, THLC’s website stated that they would cover the return cost of any faulty goods. I provided evidence (in the form of a receipt) that clearly showed the cost of return postage. Once they received this, they refused to cover any of the return postage cost. In addition, the customer service was abysmal. After lots of chasing from me, they came back stating that the item I returned was ‘flawless’. This definitely wasn’t the case and it sounds like they plan to sell the product to another unsuspecting customer! I’m afraid this is another example of an online retailer you cannot trust. It seems odd to be asked to review an order when I haven't yet had the delivery or any communications yet aside from the initial order confirmation. Update 8-7-14 - still no news on my order (placed on 26-6-14) and no response to an email either so downgraded to very poor.
