I took my daughters Armani watch to be repaired as it hadn't been working for some time. I was attended to very quickly by a really pleasant gentleman who examined the watched, advised it was probably just a new battery, but also advised me that as it hadn't worked for some time they may find that the battery had leaked once the case was opened. He said they would open the case to see, if it had leaked and was going to be more expensive then I would, at that point, be able to decide if I wanted to carry on with the work. they also offered a cleaning service, as the metal strap and fastenings were looking a little worn. I returned an hour later, to find it was only the battery, so the work had been carried out, the metal work clean and she now has a watch that looks as good as new. Always use the shop in Manchester Arndale centre, always helpful and knowledgeable, without being pushy. Would highly recommend

Very efficient and friendly service but my husband was horrified when he learnt I'd spent £95 on a new battery for my Tag watch and another £25 to clean the outside!

My Omega DeVille watch purchased new in Dallas Texas 5 years ago stopped working. I went to the Brent Cross outlet in London who gave me a quote for just over £800 in November. They said it would be ready for collection in around 10 weeks but it was ready in 8 weeks. Perfect but the only downside is they collected the money from my credit card in December. I would have preferred to pay either by Debit card or cash when I collected the watch. However it all worked out fine.

The member was rude. speak down to me. impatient his tone and attitude was like he was the owner of the shop and I was a nuisance. Went there to collect a watch that was repaired and it needed a couple of links off - He was over the top with the price £14.99. so expensive. My friend also wanted the same done to her watch but did not bother after hearing him speak. I was sent there by the Watch Shop when I bought a new Armani watch from them. the Watch Shop should look into this. Brent Cross branch. Another member of staff tried to apologise for his behaviour but he turned on this staff saying as well. Terrible behaviour. I do not recommend them. All this happened a few days ago.

In 1961 my wife and I bought each other an Omega watch to celebrate our wedding. Mine was automatic and it ran perfectly well until 2015, when it began to lose time and stop occasionally. After running reliably for 54 years, it just needed a good service. Having searched the internet for a suitable repairer, I decided to ask your Manchester branch for a quotation to carry out any necessary work to bring this treasured possession back to life. At first, I was somewhat shocked at the quoted price, but having considered the matter over lunch with my wife I decided to accept your offer. I am delighted with the result. The repair took 10 weeks to complete. My watch now looks exactly as it did 56 years ago when it was new and I am totally satisfied with the service that you gave it. It keeps perfectly good time again and I feel that I got good value for money. I now have six grandsons and I can only pass the watch down to one of them. Thank you.

York Branch. Good . polite service . Felt that it was slightly overpriced. £20 for a standard watch battery but probably would return.

Cribs Causeway branch... had the history lesson on arrival about how it had been a family run business that had been subsumed by the larger and officially recognised watchlab. Alarm bells immediately rang - there goes any chance of decent customer service at a reasonable price then... and I think I was right. 1st visit - quoted more for a service than Tag Heuer charge if you go direct. 'But we clean the outside of the watch too...' was the excuse. 'May also be an additional £100 IF the crown needs replacing too' - circa £400 all up and 4-6 weeks turn around. I wonder if the crown ever doesn't get replaced? No thanks. WatchDoctors - £94 and back in 7 days. 2nd visit quoted £40 to take the strap off my Tag. 30sec to 1min work. Criminal. Half an hour and a short drive later, Timpsons did it. 'How much?' says I... 'Just pop some money in the charity box' says he. Watchlab = aloof, arrogant, holier than thou attitude. I'm a chartered engineer and was fascinated to hear from the 'expert' about the 'technicalities' of pushing a pin through a hole. I'm writing to Tag Heur to question whether they want these people representing them and also to Watchlab head office although from reading the below reviews, I doubt either will care.

Everything. Took my Tag for a battery to West Quay Southampton early December 2016, I returned and it had been "short circuited", had to be sent off to the clinic and low and behold it now needed a new crown at £345, nothing to do with The Watch Lab of course. I am still waiting to hear from the head office and I do not have my watch. They have £75.00 for a battery that was never fitted. This is no way to run a business. Use these cowboys at your own risk you have been warned and I am not the first person this has happened to.

I took my Gucci watch to the Leicester branch for a simple battery replacement, came away £50.00 lighter in the wallet and needing a new watch! The date indicator no longer lines up and needs to be manually changed. The watch also stops every few days and news to be manually advanced to start it again. I took the watch back and the recommendation was to have a £150.00 service. Avoid at all costs, go to a proper watch shop and save your money.

I took a new watch on to have links removed so my girlfriend could wear it over Christmas (it was a Christmas present). When she opened it and looked at it, on of th pins hadn't been pushed in correctly. Because I was not local to get into Manchester I had to go to my local watch repairs shop and have it re-done. £14.95 for not a good job done and then another £10 spent getting it redone elsewhere!
