Your messages to me state that I should have started the device at the onset of my migraines. My migraines are 24 hours/7 days a week. When exactly would that time be? Also, after one 60 minute use my migraine worsened as did the usual ringing in my ears that I have with my migraines. Not impressed.

Nerivio® is indicated for acute treatment of chronic and episodic migraine with or without aura in patients 12 years of age or older. It is a prescription use, self-administered device for use at the onset of migraine headache or aura.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you taking our advice. In our clinical trial of adults with non-chronic migraine:   66.7% of participants reported a reduction of migraine attack pain to mild or none.   37.4 % reported complete relief of migraine attack pain.   46.3% report relief of their Most-Bothersome symptoms (MBS's), including photophobia, phonophobia, nausea.   So, while the Nerivio device is highly effective for many people, it may not provide relief in every instance of migraine headache.  We will send you some tips for usage. Thank you for your review of the Nerivio Device. If there is anything you need assistance with to most effectively use your Nerivio, please call us at Nerivio cares at (937)-637-4846, Monday through Friday 8am-8pm EST. In the meantime, here are some tips you can use to increase effectiveness: 3 Pillars for effective treatment 1. Start treatment early. • For effective results, you should start the treatment as soon as you feel the first symptoms of the migraine attack and within 60 minutes of the migraine symptoms onset (headache and/or aura). 2. Setting Intensity at the start of each treatment • Use the + to increase the intensity until it feels strong yet comfortable and not painful. • We recommend that the intensity level not be changed during the treatment. 3. Treatment Time • For effective results, complete the full 45-minute treatment. Setting Intensity Since each migraine attack is different, there is no one right setting. The intensity should be strong, but never painful, and should be set within the first few minutes of treatment.    The + and – buttons on your phone screen allow you to set the level, and just after you start a treatment, you can repeatedly press the “plus” button to increase intensity until the sensation feels strong but not uncomfortable.  During clinical trials, the most effective treatment was obtained with intensities over 20% and with averages between 25 and 35%. If you do not get to 20%, however, do not worry, as long as it feels strong. Although the intensity may feel as if it gets weaker during treatment; this is normal and is just your body adjusting to the sensation; there is no need to increase the intensity further.

I find this very effective. I had been using it for about 6months now and without any medications, my migraine improves to almost none after every treatment. However, I would like to call out the poor customer service. I had been waiting for the item to arrive only to find out that they need new prescription. Prescription was provided and they offered the bundle which I gladly accepted. After 2weeks of not receiving they said that I need a new prescription for the 3 devices. Prescription was provided but no calls or update. I called again Nov 2, only to find out that they are waiting for my signal. Why wait? Or can you just call your patient?

It is a pain trying to get set up. After going through all the steps multiple times, it still failed to connect. This will not be feasible at work.

We would like to help you with your concern. Please give us a call at Nerivio Cares at (937)‐637‐4846 Monday‐Friday 8am‐8pm EST. In the meantime, here are some steps you can try to resolve the connectivity issue. Please do not skip any steps. 1. Turn your phone off, turn your phone back on. 2. Turn Bluetooth off and back on again in the settings menu.  Do not try to pair the device from the Bluetooth menu. 3. Open the Nerivio App on your phone. 4. Turn on the device by pushing the power button (green light will flash). 5. Place the device next to the phone on a table. (If the device is on your arm please remove when connecting.) 6. Select connect device.  You will see a spinning wheel and will be asked to pair the device. 7. If the new device does not connect go to the More menu at the bottom of the Nerivio App, select Nerivio® device and then select Connect a new Nerivio device. 8. Follow prompts for connecting.

I’ve used it three times so far with no relief whatsoever. Last setting was 75 percent I cannot say that it did anything too my headache. I will inform the VA

I do not see any way to record the intensity of my headache after I complete a Nerivio treatment. How will anyone know if it works??

There are 2 sets of questions one at the start of a treatment and one at 2 hours post-treatment (The questions are the same pre and post-treatment). The questions are as follows: 1. Rate your current headache level: (choose only one option) 2. Are you experiencing any of these symptoms? (check all that apply) 3. Rate your ability to perform your usual activities: (choose only one option) 4. Device will not stay connected. I have to continuously restart my phone before Device will connect, then 30 seconds later disconnects again.

Only first time using this. To be fair I didn’t start using it within the first 60 minutes of the onset of my migraine. My experience was awful. I felt worse after I used it than before. Plus I had the worse underarm body odor after using it. Not inclined to use it again.
