“This is a great product with excellent grey coverage. I have thick curly hair with resistant greys and this works really well I have health issues that prevent me using a lot of products but this has never given me issues at all The smell is a lot more minimal and I have zero reactions for great hair colour afterwards”

“Really love my colours and the fact no parabens. My hair looks better and seems to be less brittle. Have had compliments. Very very slight criticism… I didn’t like the colour applicator bottle. Very hard to squeeze out plus it doesn’t mix as well as the tried and tested mixing bowl and brush. But again, a personal preference. Love this and the shampoos and conditioners. (Wish we could buy a larger 500ml Bottle). Please also no pump bottles. The squeeze out ones are much safer in the shower. With other brands, they provide the pump bottles and I once had one slip out of my hands and nearly causing an accident in the shower. (Not your products).”

“It was so scary doing my own hair! However I was so happy with the end result that I brought more to do my 2 daughter’s hair. I’m super happy with this product!! Unfortunately the cost of 3 of us visiting the hairdresser is far too much so I am super happy to have found ‘The Shade’ as it is now affordable to have gorgeous hair!!”

“I was a bit nervous to use this as I had used hairdressers for my colour for a long time. But the advice was perfect including colours and application technique. I have over 50% grey and I am brunette and the coverage was great. Will definitely use again and recommend to my friends!”

“I wanted to try the shade (dark brown) hair colour because I was experiencing a really itchy scalp from the one my hairdresser was using on me. What I found was that it wasn't causing any itching or discomfort whilst being applied or the day's following. So far so good, and I'm really happy with the grey coverage also.”

“I’m 62 years old and have long red hair and for the life of me I haven’t been able to find a colour that matches what I wanted , it’s either to dark or to light , I decided to try shade after I’d been looking for awhile and I wasn’t disappointed at all , it was a perfect match to the colour they said it would be , also there is no nasty smells and my hair felt amazing after I’d finish . “I can't use ppd dyes anymore due to allergic reactions so i am happy to have found The Shade. I have maybe 15 - 20% grey hair and ordered Bellagio. It came out as a beautiful very deep, dark, chocolatey brown. Good coverage and easy to apply.”

“Great colour choice. I prefer to tone my blonded hair myself rather than have a hairdresser do it..that way I get to choose the colour. I selected lightest beige and lightest ash to try. Have applied the lightest beige. Gives a nice soft colour. I like cool blonde shades so these 2 shades will work for me. Service has been good so have already ordered more to have on hand to do again when it needs it. My hairdresser adds $80 to the bill for toning. Do it yourself..so so easy”

“Let me start with the packaging- it’s elegant and comes with clear instructions on the product. The product itself is excellent- it does not have the usual strong odour other brands have- it’s reassuring to use an organic product that doesn’t harm your hair. And the result is just WoW! I will definitely buy again.”

“Wow wow wow ... I have been trying for over a year to get a lighter hair colour, to soften my facial features. Unfortunately, this was never achieved through actual hair salons. I emailed our extremely patient and helpful colourist, who took the time to actually hear exactly what I was trying to achieve and recommended, firstly a bleach wash (easy clear instructions) which I was petrified to do (but nothing to lose) as my original colour aged me. I was able to then recolour with advice from colourist of suggested colour, and OH LA LA!! exactly what I was after it is perfect. I'm now a permanent customer setting up a mirror in the bathroom to see the back of my head to colour ... yippee 🙏🌷”
