“I was apprehensive about dying my hair at home for the first time in years but I’m on maternity leave and can’t get to a salon at the moment. I’m so impressed with the results! It was very easy to apply and I didn’t make a huge mess of my bathroom. The colour is so good and still so shiny a couple of weeks later. I’ve received a lot of compliments on my “unique” colour and people have assumed that this cost me a couple of hundred dollars at a salon.”

“I have coloured my hair with The Shade for several years. I started using it because regular hair colours were irritating/burning my scalp. The Shade colours have never caused scalp issues, in fact they are soothing to my scalp. I regularly get compliments about my hair colour and to my surprise, people often think that my colour is natural (it is in fact mousy brown with a heavy sprinkling of grey!) To cap it off, my hair is in a healthier condition since I’ve started using The Shade.”

“I’m extremely happy with the results, I had brassy foils, $400 and 5 hours at a hairdressers is no longer an option for me. I contacted a hair consultant from the shade they gave me a suggestion that resulted in a beautiful ash blonde. Also using the repair mask and blonde mask my hair hasn’t been this soft or shiny in many years. I’m very impressed. I highly recommend the shade!”

“I have been using shade for over 6 months now. My skin is sensitive and does not agree to heavy chemical products. Shade is very mild on my scalp and does not cause the burning and discomfort caused by chemically heavy products. Would highly recommend it to users who prefer good results without the discomfort of burning.”

“I love the shine and depth of colour my hair has after using The Shade hair colour products. I used to get an itchy scalp every time my hair was coloured, not anymore. As a mature lady and I was finding it harder to get complete grey coverage and at the same time have a natural look. I’m so happy with the results of the shades I’m using now. I love 4.1 Dark Ash Brown then alternate with a 4.3 or 4.43 for golden tones. Definitely no fade colours. I love the hair care products as well. I have stocked up on the beautiful shampoo and conditioners, my favourite is the Volume range and Repair Mask. Please do your hair a favour and try out The Shade products. The pictures I have attached are 2 weeks after a colour.”

“Love The Shade! Its been saving me so much money! So much better than any other DIY dye kit I've bought in the past. I've been buying BRESCIA - LIGHT GOLDEN BROWN- which does seem to be fairly warm on me- but the warmth does lessen over a couple of weeks. I have a small amount of greys coming through that seem to cover pretty well with the 20vol developer. I'll definitely be continuing to use.”

“May I say 'The Shade' products and services are the best in Australia!? A couple of weeks ago, I reached out to the colourist team to get advice on some hair colour. I elaborated my recent health concern to the colourist who has been so helpful and caring in helping me to choose their free ammonia products. She has been amazing throughout the whole process from helping me make a decision, reassuring me, advising me on some tips on how to make the colour adhere to get a full coverage. After I applied it (with the geat help of my husband), I ended up in a wonderful hair colour, fully covering the greys and which after three weeks have not faded out compare to other brands. Mine was brand new of regrowth hair. So happy, so amazed and so reassured that the products have not damaged my hair but was gentle with no irritation or itchy feeling. THANK YOU MY SHADE!”

“I have been exclusively using the shade for all my hair colouring needs, and love the colour and results, the shade products don't have that strong chemical smell you can get with the typical box dies, and having a subscription allows you to always have your next hair colour ready to use when needed. If you are thinking of trying The Shade, I would totally recommend it.”
