“I have been colouring my hair since I was fifteen, I have also paid NZ$400-NZ$600 to sit in the salon for 5 hours having a colour applied. So fed up with this I stripped the colour and allowed my natural grey to shine through during all of the Covid "stuff". Although I was complimented on my natural grey/white colour it never felt like ME so I started to do a bit of research as I prefer a temporary colour which fades so the grey root growth is not so obvious over the 6 weeks, and there are virtually no colours that give this option (unless I want bright pink, purple or blue hair!) Then I found The Shade which offers different levels of colour depending on what you want so I went with volume 5 as a one off first-liked the colour but didnt quite cover those pesky grey roots so chnaged it to Volume 10 as a subscription and it is great-so natural looking and a good friend of mine recently said dont ever change that hair colour it is so perfect for you. My hair feels so much softer, also have scalp psoriasis and there is no stinging/burning or irritation at all. Since finding The Shade I am much more confident in getting a consistently great colour at home and have gone on to purchase the peppermint shampoo, leave in curl cream (I love the smell and texture without stickiness) and protect and perfect spray. I have not been disappointed with any of the products and my hair is in the best condition it has even been in. Take the chance you will not regret it :)”

“My first time using The Shade; after reading so many positive reviews I just had to try for myself. Well it lives up to the hype! Fantastic, the colour a little darker than I had planned but absolutely loving it. And I also bought the Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner to help my dry hair and it is amazing. So much shine and the copper highlights in the sunshine has my friends commenting on how great it looks. Try it, you won't be sorry.”

“Love the auto delivery that takes hassle off my shopping. Lovely smell, not toxic. Doesn’t hurt my scalp and today I even left it for 50 minutes and the results are amazing 🤩 I’m trying now different shade to see how this one will work with my grey hair that are started to coming out. “I got so sick of spending hundreds of dollars in the salon, I used to always dye my hair when I was younger using those cheap box dyes. These are so much better than that. I have tried a few different colours and have loved every one. It is so easy, and love that everything comes in the box for you. Also that you can sign up for a membership and get it shipped to you as often as you like. Fantastic products! Highly recommend x”
