“I have been using the shade since I had kids 5 years ago. After having my hair done for years I had a good idea how to do it and got hooked on doing it myself. So much easier and cheaper. Noticed the upgrades too! Good on you guys. Love the new clips and the Tsubaki oil is THA BOMB!”

“I'm grey and my hair grows very quickly, so I have to colour it myself. I heard about The Shade in a fashion magazine so thought I would give it a go. Very prompt delivery, very well priced, easy instructions and the colour is perfect. Even my hairdresser said it look fantastic. My only feedback is perhaps you could have two hand sizes for the gloves (I have big hands and the gloves didn't really fit) and it said there were clips to pin my hair back but they were not included in the box. These two comments are so minor to the excellent colour, product and service though :)”

“I have been using The Shade now for almost 4 years & absolutely love their products! They are such good quality. My hair always feels so nice after a colour. I have saved thousands of dollars using The Shade over the years compared to if I went to a hairdresser for every colour. I use their Tsubaki oil regularly & it gives my hair so much shine. “Was hesitant to do my own colour at home with all the mess and staining but with The Shade, they provide all the tools necessary to make colouring your hair at home a breeze. I was also very impressed with the grey coverage, it looks better than a salon cover and with the bonus of having no nasties. Will be using The Shade from now and saving Salon fees. I will only visit the Salon once every 3 months for a good hair cut.”

“Have been using the shade for about 12 months now. I have changed my colour a few times but have now found the perfect colour. I love how helpful the consultants have been. My order comes on time every five weeks and I now pay a couple of hundred dollars a year compared the thousands I was spending at the salon. Highly recommend.”

“I am so absolutely thrilled to use The Shade!! I used Palermo as I had naturally red hair that isn't any more, at almost 62! I am usually quite sensitive so extra pleased that I have no reaction to these high quality products. The Shade offers expert advice, amazing hair colours and hair care, great prices and convenient delivery. My hair feels soft and healthy, not dry or "crunchy".
