Where do I start.. I ordered a train and paid for delivery as can't get to a store. It turns up in a massive box and it's not the correct item or even 1 on their website. On the packing slip it states down the bottom right hand side an employee number as they have checked everything is correct with my order. I called customer service and they were useless and even discriminated me to a certain point. I was told a manager would call by 5pm. I called them back as I felt it was just a game to them. Made to hold for over 10 mins and not knowing what was going on. Told again manager is going to call you back shortly. Nothing. I messaged CEO Mr Murphy (he has been at John Lewis for years) and he responded to say he was in the USA. He is sending it back to the same manager who is dishonest and has no integrity. DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY DUE TO THEIR AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Bought a toy for our granddaughter and within an hour it wasn’t working properly, the manager asked if I had replaced the batteries?? He did replace them and the toy still wasn’t working properly, Elmo phone, to teach numbers, but you can’t hear it. He said there was nothing wrong with it and wouldn’t replace it or give me a voucher for something else. We often go to the shop after swimming will not be going there again but at the end of all this our granddaughter has been let down, poor show.

I was walking to The Entertainer shop in Romford, next to Tk Max, on 15 March 2024 and there was 2 members of staff. I was looking for a dinosaur toy for the son of my friend, I asked a young lady, a brunette, if there were some dinosaur toys looking at me she responded back brutally we don’t have any dinosaur toys. I said ok and walked away I saw on the shelves Jurassic World Dinosaur toys, and get back to her to mention to her there were some dinosaur toys and she should show them to me, but again she was very aggressive and responded brutally, like disturbing her time, this is Jurassic World it's not dinosaurs!!! As a staff, if a Customer gets inside she needs to give help to find toys, puzzles or anything else. She forgot where she on the place of work, and responded to me back brutally and very aggressively way, instead of showing and proposing a diversity of dinosaur toys to make a little boy. I just left and went to a different shop to spend my money, if your shop is not interested in keeping the customer, I will never be back again.

I WILL NEVER SHOP WITH THE ENTERTAINER AGAIN. Was supposed to get a refund from a purchase made on 2nd but so far have still not recieved it. Their so called customer service is for online customers only which is disgusting... customer service should be for all customers.

It was not a bad product just a bad store experience. I visited your Preston store on the 13th December, many to look for gifts for my grandaughter. On walking into the store I was unable to pick up a basket as empty boxes had been abandoned on them. I walked passed the till point and was not greeted at all by the female member of staff leaning on counter messing with an electronic device. On continuing my walk around the store I was confronted with a shopping trolley of abandoned stock and more boxes on the floor. I continued my walk around around the store passing the only other member of visible staff and again no greeting. I believed The Entertainer had higher standards than the total mess I experienced, well it did when I worked for them. There was no Christmas spirit or atmosphere most disappointing, I believe standards are slipping and the whole ethos of the ultimate toy shop has been lost, well certainly in Preston. Such a shame.

Paid for the app it does not work and try and contact the entertainer. No one gets back to you lots of reference numbers etc but no email replies to sort the problem out sad

Shocking company, tried to place an order but the website kept saying "order not placed" - tried 2 payment cards and kept getting the same response. Paid with paypal in the end. The "order not placed" orders actually went through and i was billed 4 times. Chased the refund, and only a partial refund was given. Chased again and said it would be processed by the end of the day. Chased them again today and apparently it's now going to be another 2-4 days. I won't hold my breath on this and will end up chasing these again at the end of next week Shocking service!

Took the money for the order and no email for confirmation, no text nothing I received, try to contact them and no one answer, and if they answering they hung up on you, disgusting if you don't want lose money don't buy from entertainer, there is much better place with nice coster service.

Ordered birthday gift for my goddaughter on 23rd November for her birthday on 6th December. It didn't arrive. It sat in Evri's delivery office for 11 days. I complained to The Entertainer. First via Whatsapp (it WAS listed on their contact page or I wouldn't have been able to message them). Then via Twitter. Was told I had to wait 3 days for them to send a message to Evri, and to contact them again if nobody bothers to contact me within that time. It is for me to accept that Evri are unable to provide an acceptable service 4 weeks before Christmas. God forbid someone at The Entertainer would make a phone call and escalate issues. The Entertainer does not choose it's delivery partners based on their performance - the statistics are out there. The Entertainer wants your money and doesn't really care what happens after that. The Entertainer says the Evri issues are out of their hands. Which is a lie. They have chosen a delivery partner with an appalling record and chose to go into business with them. I will always boycott them. Amazon is, for all its faults, cheaper and quicker. Apparently they attempted a delivery while I was at work today (no warning it was coming so couldn't arrange for someone to be in). I'm waiting to hear about compensation for not being able to give my goddaughter a birthday present. To be fair, they couldn't care less about their customers so I won't hold my breath.

Placed an order on 1st December. Got confirmation on 3rd of dispatch. Got cancellation on 5th. Got a refund for 1 item on 6th after I had sourced the items elsewhere. They Got a confirmation from courier and online that order was comming, turns out the email that stated order was cancelled should only say one item was. I astablished this after a 25 minute wait gor customer service, although their wait time at the beginning of the call said 9 minutes. Spoke to a lovely chap named Ryan who was very honest and explained it was their email mistake, he cancelled my order and gave a full refund. If you know you have an email issue sort it, also had to laugh as email confirming refund said we are sorry courier has lost your parcel.

Shocking service! Was told all my order was in stock and available for click and collect. Then a few hours later got an email saying 5 days delivery.I tried calling I tried emailing but got no where. Only response was tripadvisor review. Asked for all my details and still 5 days later heard nothing. Go elsewhere.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Purchased over £200 worth of toys on a Sunday for my daughters birthday the following weekend, on the day of delivery I received a email saying my order was cancelled and a new order was raised but half the stuff was missing, and delivery would be the following Monday as the items I had ordered was out of stock. To add insult the 10% discount I had on my original order was removed. I called to complain the man I spoke to was useless he couldn't care less he clearly didn't like his job and has had no customer training so I cancelled my whole order. Now waiting for 5 days for my refund and I have no money for my daughters birthday. After I received my cancellation email I looked on the entertainer website to see everything I originally ordered was still for sale. Disgusting company!! Avoid at all costs.

I have no words to describe my dissatisfaction with this 2022 entertainer. You added only fine dining restaurants. you canceled all the bars and restaurants that were there all these years, not to mention the offer for my birthday😑 sent me an email that I have free mani pedi, drinks for my birthday, and when I open the app there are 10 restaurants and out of 10 restaurants, only three have an offer for my birthday. really wasted money for this app from next year we won't even use entertainer again. and that's what you get for 700aed pure disappointment

Customer service was shocking, staff member tried to argue and was generally very rude. The entertainer is a shop we will not return to and I will spread the word with other mum friends.

Daughter chose a toy which she had been asking for a few weeks which was part of a display in Bromley where they encouraged children to play with them. Quality isn't good. First toy we took home stopped working, I went back to Bluewater and swapped as it was tested and the toy confirmed not working. Brought replacement home and it didn't work at all. When I returned replacement they tested and got working. I explained I wanted to return as clearly temperamental and wasn't cheap. Was told they won't allow me to exchange for another toy. Staff were rude and were laughing amongst themselves at me when I was trying to explain to them the situation with the toy. I felt completely judged and the tone of their conversation was implying I was just trying it. Bluewater needs to work on their customer service, and review the quality of toys they are selling and promoting at the front of the stores!

Absolutely shocking customer service! Parcel arrived late in December missing there delivery deadline. Taken until February to receive a refund which isn’t even a full refund! DO NOT BUY FROM THE ENTERTAINER

Awful customer service. Order was supposed to be delivered 22nd. Spent all morning on the phone, requested a call back at 9am. Used the chat service which cut off as an assistant joined the chat after queuing from 32 people. Never got the call back so rang again and was on the phone for an hour and 2 minutes before connected to the lovely Alicia, I say that loosely. She told me to wait for my parcel or cancel it and wait 6 weeks for my money back. Requested a call back from a manager which will take another 48hrs apparently. Shocking shitshow of a company
