Me & my wife bought our 4 children a car racing set. It cost £30:00. It’s such a bad quality of a product. Cars just don’t stay on the track even at low speed. Controls don’t work that well. Tried to get a refund from the entertainer West Bromwich. All they say is, you have opened it. But they couldn’t tell how l would know if a product was any good without opening it. But they can keep my £30:00 if that’s what they call customer service. We have spent a lot of money their in the past on our children but never again. You will only find out how bad the service their is once you shop their. Please don’t.

I ordered a few toys for Xmas presents, which I had no qualms about until I realised the Entertainer use Hermes for their deliveries. Just over a week after I ordered I got confirmation from Hermes that my parcel had been delivered to my home address and personally signed for by me. I was in Lithuania at the time on holiday. No-one was at home andthere was no-one to sign for it. I phoned my neighbour who confirmed nothing had been left outside the front door. Given that Hermes have a reputation for (a) non-delivery and (b) thieving drivers, I contacted the Entertainer to ask them to find out what had happened. The first response i got from the Entertainer was for me to phone Hermes and find out myself. Maybe I'm being picky, but if I buy something online I believe it's the sellers who are responsible for the delivery being successfully made - not for the customer to do all the donkey work for them. So I complained a bit. Which was good because Customers Services simply said they would re-send the items with Yodel instead - except that not all the items were in stock any more so they part-refunded me. Which is annoying a week before Xmas. Then Customer Services emailed me to say they couldn't use Yodel and they would have to use Hermes again. At least I think that's what they said - their English and grammar was apalling (not sure if it was someone who was a bit thick or had been hitting the sherry after a Xmas lunch....). At least, today, my replacement parcel turned up - from Yodel. So I'm not sure what all that nonsense about having to use Hermes again was all about. UNFORTUNATELY - the parcel had been opened and not resealed. FORTUNATELY - the courier obviously didn't need any of the order for his own kids Xmas presents so it wall all there. So would I use the Entertainer again ? Not bl**dy likely. I was being a cheapskate because the stuff I ordered was on sale. From now on I'm sticking to professionals like Smyths Toys.

Ordered and paid extra for quick delivery which said Saturday delivery. Waited in all day Saturday and no delivery. Rang customer service who said item was still in the warehouse and refunded the delivery. Within the hour I surprisingly got an email saying it has been dispatched. Their courier then emails me to say delivery Sunday afternoon which is inconvenient but it is what it is. We rush around Sunday morning to get home and low and behold at 315pm I get a message saying there’s “a problem” and it won’t be delivered. Another bloody day wasted. I have no idea when this will arrive now. First time I’ve used this company and the last. Shocking service and shocking delivery. Sort it out entertainer, it’s your mess and YOUR courier . Terrible service !

The worst toy shop out there! Useless website, with an ordering system not fit for purpose, and rude, patronising customer service staff! Ordered 2 items at 8.57am for click and collect from their Staines store, which was showing as in stock, and the money was taken from my credit card. However by 3pm I still had not received an email saying it was ready to collect, so I contacted "customer service" who said the items were not in stock even though they had accepted my order and taken £46 of my money!  The member of staff was very rude and patronising and was pratically making fun of the fact that my sons Christmas has been ruined by The Entertainers incompetance. AN ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES!! AVOID!

Saw a great offer online. Added to basket and looked for the Hermes collection option that is clearly advertised on the site. Only delivery or store pickup available. Phoned customer support, sent messenger txts. Got zero help. This should not be on the site of they do not do Hermes collections.

Appalling customer service at the Horsham store.....will not refund on a faulty product basically called me a liar. Will not be using again and woukd advise others to shop elsewhere.

Received an E mail to say sale on. Logged into my account, added a number of items to my basket and just as I went into it to order and pay the sit crashed . Did this 5 times and gave up. When I went back in later on nothing was left. Massively disappointed and frustrated. If issues with a website, take it down and fix it properly so everyone doesn't waste their time. Very poor customer service.

As an ex employee I can say they are atrocious to work for, they don't really care about customers just profit margins. You get warnings for not selling enough batteries, cards, gift wrap or kinder eggs. You will be asked for your email address for non existent competitions ie win £100 of entertainer vouchers. Stores are marked down for giving refunds so even if you are owed one they will do everything possible not to give you one. Company hides behind its 'ethical' values which I found don't exist poor company, poor management and a disrespectful CEO who when he visited my store twice in 4 years never even took the time to say hello! That just about sums it up, no time for the minions that are nicely building up his multi million pound empire! We also had to throw over 200 kinder eggs away which were past their due by date! Staff have them the manager laughed we're not allowed to do that and threw them all in the bin after smashing them all up! Stockport Entertainer I wouldn't recommend it all.

Shocking customer service in the Hanley store. Totally unhelpful staff with a serious lack of customer service skills. I can only imagine thay head office have a huge back log of complaints to deal with as an email sent over a week ago and in still waiting on a reply. Would not recommend.

I will never go to the Preston branch again, very rude, arrogant and incompetent manager who refused to refund a faulty toy. Took over 40 minutes to get refund as manager refused to believe that it was faulty. Would not test toy in infront of me but went behind in warehouse to test. Even threatened to remove me from the store with faulty toy and told me to phone customer service for refund. Manager has NO customer care or compassion at all, I think he needs to go on a training course again before he has any interaction with customers. He even accused me of giving back toy with missing parts, he finally realized it was all present when I asked him to check box on shelf. No apology given at all by the arrogant store manager. I will AVOID buying from this company in the future, as giving refund for faults is a problem for them. I wish I could give zero stars to this company.

again problems still not sorted on the website after sending an email. i get an email telling me my stuff is in stock but im not aloud to buy it WHY because again for the last two or more months they have still not fixed the part of the check out where you PAY BY CARD... you pick the type of card then fill in the details TILL YOU COME TO THE DATE PART unless your card only goes to MAY and not after YOU WILL NOT BE ALOUD TO BUY ANYTHING FROM THE SHOP ONLINE one star is far to good for a company this size comunicated via email as usual live chat didnt work OH I WONDER WHY oh due to high demand says it all really

I ordered an item on line and it said the order had failed. I tried again with the same result, to the try one last time using a different payment method. Each time it failed, each time I have been charged, and I have to try to get a refund. On top of this I phoned the local shop explaining the situation asking if they could reserve the item, to which they said no but speak to customer service who can process the order. Twenty minutes waiting to get through to customer service to be told no they couldn’t although they phoned the store to get the same answer. So no order and waiting for £150 refund.

Do not order online!! Hermes left my parcel out side my house behind a bin.. I have no front garden and live by. Two main roads.. Entertainer resent items which was good but an item was then out of stock and missing an item after phone calls and emails I've not had any apology come satin nothing I ordered 3 weeks ago and still waiting for my last item
