“DO NOT BUY from this company! If you do, you’ll be very sorry. Check their Facebook Visitor Posts. So many unhappy customers including myself. My own personal experience is of shockingly poor plants being delivered. I ordered four plants. One arrived half dead, with dry soil and curled leaves. It was never going to survive. Nothing like the glorious specimen as advertised on their website. Another plant so tiny it wasn’t worth the money paid. I did not want to receive the other two due To arrive imminently.
It took one month for Customer Service to contact me. No response to e-mails apart from automated responses. So frustrating. Eventually some member of staff responded on the Facebook messaging system.
I cancelled my order. They refunded one plant that was due in a few months time but couldn’t cancel the other due in 10 days! I had to catch the delivery driver and refuse delivery. The delivery driver would not get paid. I felt so guilty. It was not my fault. It was Thompson and Morgan’s fault.
I had paid approximately £80. I still do not have my full refund two months on. Like many customers, I feel robbed and duped.
Trying to get a refund is like trying to get blood out of a stone.
The Customer Service is abysmal. This company really does not care about its customers. It just wants your money.

“I ordered plants and compost to the value of £106 in March and truly wish that I had not bothered. The plants that have arrived so far have either been dead or so badly damaged that most had no chance of survival. It has been a bitterly disappointing experience and I will never, ever deal with this company again. Avoid at all costs. The phone lines are always going to be "back on in a few days" Rubbish!!”
“This is a review i put on trust pilot, if you look at their reviews on Feefo on their own website makes them look wonderful, if you look here or on other websites the truth comes out, the fact is that they are taking peoples money and not delivering on the product and then making excuses , the reality is that they have closed their customer phone lines and hiding behind emails and with their slow response hoping people will just go away, its simple they just cant cope with demand in these difficult times and just sending out any old rubbish plants, i received only half of my order yesterday , been poorly packaged basically just put in a box with no packaging and arrived a week later resulting in fairly dead plants, the sort that you see in garden centre clearance for 50p ,
think the is a bit of a trend with these reviews, just received an order which was ordered at the end of of March , they obviously can’t cope with demand , of the 20 plants I ordered I received 9 in almost dead condition been in a box for a least a week another 1 was just a plastic pot with soil in it , the other 10 still awol ,there happy to take your money but not deliver on the quality plants promised and I quote ‘you won’t be disappointed ‘ won’t be using them again! , I know we are in difficult times but other plant suppliers are coping ,”
“Only received 2 items from order, all the others missing with no explanation as to where the other items were. The two plants that arrived were in terrible condition with one being broken. I would never had ordered from this firm but I am shielding so cannot get out to a garden centre to buy any. Absolutely appalling service, this company should be ashamed of itself.”

“My 86 year old father, who has ordered through Thompson and Morgan for years,is still waiting for his order placed in the middle of March(cheque immediately cashed). Following numerous emails as phone lines are down,I find out the plants had been lost in transit and that a replacement order would arrive at the end of April. My further emails haven't been answered.This is shocking especially as they boast their '100% happiness guarantee'”

“I put in an order for £55 in April and had email to say part order has been dispatched. Only one has arrived, a packet of 5 totally dead petunias pushed through the letterbox, there is no chance of revival. Their phone lines are down and they have not responded to 3 emails Requesting cancellation of rest of order and full refund. I Cannot now afford to go out and buy more plants. Yesterday I received a promotional email from them Advertising their wonderful plants so they are obviously still taking money and misselling by promising plants will be delivered in excellent condition. “I ordered bedding plant plugs in March 2020 and received confirmation of receipt of order. I also ordered a pot-grown hydrangea which arrived very badly damaged. To be fair, it was replaced without question However, there have been no replies to three queries about the bedding plants, and looking at the status of my order,I find they are listed for dispatch in March 2021. I will not deal with them again and would not recommend them.”

“The plants ordered were of SERIOUSLY substandard quality. Of 20 fuchsia plugs 8 were already rotten or dead and since another 3 have died. Other orders - placed before I was aware of the dreadful quality- are equally totally unacceptable. Trying to cancel remaining items has been like pulling teeth. I can get no answer to my e-mails.
Plant quality is simply dreadful, and customer service ranks no higher.
