“I see other reviewers had a similar issue to me. Just because I am changing my address you can't ship these out timely to me because you don't know who I am? I have been ordering with this company for years. I am well over legal age and have a long history with this company but all of a sudden you don't trust me. I frequently have shipping issues with this company. The orders either come super quickly and are not trackable or they arrive slowly even after electing and PAYING FOR expedited shipping. My advice -go with a different company. The discounts with bulk ordering aren't worth the hassle. And the fact that almost every order I do, I end up having to call customer service. So annoying!”

“I’m a 64 year-old senior citizens Thompson cigar pressured me into sending either my birth certificate or drivers license just to purchase a pack of cigarettes while I appreciate them trying to protect our young population. Teenagers can go to any corner store and buy any tobacco product that they would like for them to harass me for my birth certificate and drivers license just to purchase a few cigarettes is ridiculous and offensive shame on you, Thompson cigar”

“slow service created disaster by Cigars International after they bought Thompson out in Florida and relocated it to PA, A move to put Thompson out of business, Cigars Internatinal is not a USA owned company. I no longer buy from CI or Thompson< I have found cheaper more reliable sources with much faster shipping times”

“I was a longtime customer. Quality has been deteriorating over the past couple of years. Expensive cigars have been unraveling when cut with some being dried out. I ordered 5 white label cigars in December 2025 which were not received yet March 3, 2026. I received an e-mail stating I had to pay for the cigars. I called Customer service who confirmed I had to pay for them to keep the order alive despite not knowing when they would ship! New voice prompt “customer service” system is a disaster. I’m done with Thompson Cigar. Buyer Beware. Quality and Service are poor.”

“Ordered some decent cigars at a reasonable price. Drew Estate Tabak and some Olivia samplers, $300 in all. Took them a couple days to ship, didn't get them for well over a week. When they arrived, after an extended stay in Las Vegas warehouse during a 110 degree heat wave they showed up at my with over 101 degree temperature with no moisture packs with the smokes. Tried smoking one of the Tabak cigars, I might have well been burning some of our Kingman dead weeds. Contacted Thompsons, they pretty much blew me off telling me to put them in a humidor, they'll be fine in a couple weeks. They aren't fine after spending over 3 weeks in 70% humidor.”

“I received my cigars, shipping box was perfect, but cigar box was imploded due to object striking box and damaging about 12 cigars Obviously the box was damaged before shipping ? I tried to upload pictures several times with no success? Order confirmation # TC007052979 , placed on June 15,25 See pics”

“I've been buying from Thompson cigars for 3 years. Always recieve order on time, and good cigars. I've had maybe 3 cigars in 3 years that were dry. I would recommend them to anyone. I just received another order and the cigars are fantastic. Good pricing as well. Very happy with them.”

“In the last 3 years I have made 8 orders of 5 pack fever to share with my three sons. Total of 71 5 packs, 24 different brands. Never had any problems with Thompson, service was great!. Got an email to confirm the orders, email when in process, email when shipped, email when delivered.”

“The bad reviews are so weird to me. I’ve been ordering from Thompson for a few years now and have had nothing but great experiences. Their 5-pack-fevers can get you some very expensive cigars for quite cheap. They always ship immediately, and they’ve always arrived intact and undamaged. I’m baffled by the hate for them here…”

“Not so good every time I chose and pay for over night I get my cigars 3 or 4 days later they take the 29.99 for the over night shipping but I never deliver on time sucks to say but I’ll be shopping else where from now on”

“Thompson Cigars swnt me broken cigars and also signed me up for their rewards program that has a fee, without my consent. They said they would not refund me until I told them that was theft. The customer service representative was also rude in the process. I do not recommend this company at all.”

“I order cigars, it wasn't the first time. They sent me a request for age verification, I sent twice my driving license. I spoke with ineffective lack of professionalism customer service, they promised me they will help me with my order they never did. Without explanation they canceled my order.”

“Discount shown at checkout not applied, customer service said it was an exclusion. 2nd coupon mailed to my house was also denied, despite showing the exact cigar ordered in a picture on the coupon - I emailed a pic of it and eventually was told I'd get a credit in 10 days! TC was deceptive and made me run the gauntlet to get the discounts advertised!”
