A total scam found out they been charging me 14.95 for the last 2 years. You get nothing in return for the money. They automatically enroll you a scam. Look at your credit card statement .

Tried 2 times to make the same order and get to the end of my order and it says each time that the order did not go through and to try again. The third time it goes through. Check my bank statement and there are three pending charges for the same amount. Of course their customer service line is closed on the weekend. So I email their support staff explaining what happened and that I only need one of the three orders. I included the order numbers in my email. Monday morning I get a email saying that orders ship 5am on Monday and that they were not able to cancel those orders and they can’t do anything. They say I will have to return the two orders when I receive them. Ok I think, should be fine. Go to ups and return 2 of my 3 orders. A few weeks goes by with no refund. Finally I get a refund for my order. I got two separate refunds and both were almost $30 less than what the original order was for. So I call their customer service line. I don’t think they could have worse customer service. Each time I call it’s 30 minutes sitting on hold waiting for a operator. Then when you get to a operator, they don’t even know what they are doing. I was constantly put on hold so they could talk to their supervisor. They finally say, your full refund should be processed in a couple days. So I check my bank statement and a refund of $16 was processed for each order. Still about $14 short per order of the original purchase price. Then I find the day after the refund was issued there was a charge from Thompson cigars to my credit card for $17. At this point I’m getting very annoyed and just want to be done with this terrible company. Call customer service, sit on hold for another half hour and finally get a hold of someone. Explain to her everything going on. She says she will get it fixed, but says there is a $8 return shipping charge taken out of the refund and offers my a credit for Thompson cigars towards my next order. At this point I don’t even want to be dealing with this company much less spending any more money with them. I tell her I don’t want a credit and that I want a full refund of the difference that I never received. After sitting on hold for another 15 minutes while she talks to her supervisor She said it should be a week for the refund to process. I have zero expectations of getting this resolved without pulling out my hair. Please do not order anything from this company if you value your sanity. Their customer service is terrible and good luck returning anything or getting any amount of a refund. This company is a joke and from other reviews sounds like I am not alone in having a terrible experience with Thompson cigars.

I would give no stars if offered. Today I noticed a recurring $14.95 on my credit card from "Affinion" in Bethlehem, Pa. Apparently, despite my NEVER clicking approval for a free period of anything, a recurring bill after a free trial I never participated in appeared on my credit card bill. AMEX had the number as 484-471-9713 and no one answered until I did this repeatedly. SHAME on Thompson. SHAME. Absolute nonsense and I would offer B.S. You'll never get a dime again from me.

AS of Dec 19, 2029 I was a platinum member and such status did not require me to pay for shipping. Yet every time I try to place an order below the "$125 free shipping," I get the shipping charge as an itemized entry. Another I experienced was the deduction of points when combined with a coupon in a single order. The points are deducted first, and then a partial dollar amount of the coupon total is applied towards the order. In other words, a ceiling of a total dollar amount is only allowed per each order as opposed to apply full coupon and selected points. The third issue I experienced was the fact I had to return a bad Perdomo cigar lighter, which I was offered a $10 certificate for the trouble, and still waiting for such certificate. I received a replacement lighter in exchange and it was also damaged. At that point I decided to keep second damaged lighter since I was already belly-up after paying for the return shipping of a bad item. Thompson Cigar still has an outstanding and great inventory, but my bottom line is the following: I am not interested in being taken for a fool. I told them to keep my platinum status, to keep my current balance of 400 plus points and to close my account. I am done ordering from Thompson Cigars. I do not want certificates, I do not want coupons/promotion codes, I do not want phone calls apologizing and I sure do not want a scripted email saying Thompson Cigar value their customers. and they are sorry about my experience.

This joint and their total values plus bs should be put out of business. I let everyone of my friends on Facebook know about your scam and ask them to share with their friends. I'm guessing by now that thousands of people know about your crooked business practices. My job is done here, heart warming.

Back in December I ordered cigars. I wrote a check for the amount I calculated, and waited for my order. I have been a customer for over 10 years. It's the middle of January, and was yet to receive my order. I contacted customer service to find out what happened. two days later, I receive an email, saying I was a $1.83 short (state taxes). My credit card is on file, and they just held my order and money, TILL I CONTACTED THEM!! I will not be doing business again with Thompson Cigars. Horrible customer service!!

Good luck ever reaching anyone there!! It's impossible to check an order (online doesn't help). They never answer their phones. I hano idea how they stay in business.

Thompson cigar is a fake company. can't deliver. all phone calls go over seas, not based in USA...no customer service, no respect for working Americans. A company called Best Cigars, geographically 1.5 hours away (both in the state of Pennsylvanian) delivers on time and respects the customer

Ordered from Thompson Cigar at 5:00 AM on 8/25/2022. Paid for and confirmed overnight delivery. During the day received no confirmation from Thompson Cigar. Received a confirmation e-mail this morning notifying me that my order had not been labeled until 11:44 last evening. Then received a notification from UPS that my order will be here Monday 8/29/2022. That is not overnight shipping. Then trying to their customer service is nightmare number two. Agent, based in Latin America, takes no responsibility for the issue. She does authorize a refund of the amount I paid for overnight shipping but has yet to send the requested e-mail confirmation. Thompson Cigar's customer service is hideous and this will be the last time I order from them. Tell your friends and acquaintances not to order from this company.

This is a horrible company. I ordered a sampler that comes with a torch lighter. The lighter stopped working within the first week. I called the company. I was on hold for literally 2 hours and 10 minutes one time and many other times for over an hour before I had to hang up. Instead of telling me where I am in the queue, they played this terrible music and left me to wonder. After trying for days, at different times and getting the same results, I finally got through to them. Stupidly, I ordered another sampler that also comes with a torch lighter. They said they would send a replacement lighter for the one that didn't work. Well, I got the second order, but the replacement lighter wasn't in it. AND ... the second torch lighter did the EXACT SAME THING, it worked for a few days and then stopped, just like the previous one. Never order anything from this company and never call them.

I ordered a gift for my husband two weeks ago. It was over $500. Thompsons Cigars charged my card twice and still hasn't sent my order. Dealing with their customer service is a nightmare. Save yourself the trouble and order from anywhere else. I will NEVER order from this horrible company again!

I went through my bank statement today and saw a charge for $14.95 from Thompson co. I had purchased cigars from Thompson several times but NEVER have I authorized anything recurring. I sent them an E mail demanding a refund for the entire year it was on there and removed all payment methods from my profile. Then I went on line and saw all the complaints about the same thing. Once I realized it was not simply and accident I called my bank, disputed all the charges and canceled my card. HUGE pain in my ass. Have to transfer all my auto pays items now. I will never use Thompson again.

My credit card was charged 14.95/month for unauthorized payments to a company called Thompson Co./ Total Values Plus. After 7 unauthorized charges, I contacted THOMPSON Co/TVPdemanding full refund, involvement with my bank, credit card company and informing state and local agencies as well as informing, educating and influencing victims, potential victims and consumers of these fraudulent practices of Thompson Cigar/TVP. I was refunded all money back my my CC.

I have ordered cigars from Thompson cigars for years. However, recently when I order a product that says it is stock, but really isn’t, they send me whatever they have in inventory. I like Connecticut wrappers, but they sent a darker cigar that I don’t care for. I have never written a bad review before, but I can’t take it anymore.

Bought 3 boxes of my favorite CAO America cigars. To my surprise they are sooo dry I can barely smoke them. Never again Thompson. Buyer Beware!!!

They sent me the driest cigars I've ever tried to smoke. I ended up throwing them all out. I would be better off buying swisher sweets from the convenience store. I only left one star because a negative 5 wasn't an option. Horrible company that should be shut down!
