“Expensive booking fees”

Hi Sally, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Booking fees are added to each ticket to cover the costs involved in providing our ticketing service. We do not take a penny of the face value cost of a ticket - 100% of the face value is passed on to the event organisers running the event. Without these booking fees, we wouldn’t be able to provide our service to you, our customer. Included in the booking fees, and any additional e-ticket delivery fees, are card payment processing costs, customer service and account handling costs, secure server maintenance and development costs, and a number of other costs involved in providing our service. A large portion of the booking fee also goes towards funding new technologies designed to improve your event experience. Kind regards, Ticket Arena

“Yesterday I miss out on the first ticket for southport-weekender-festival it was not going through properly”

Hi Roger, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I would like to apologise that you have not been able to purchase the tickets you required. This event was of extremely high demand and there were only a limited number of tickets. We monitored the on sale closely and no issues with the site were identified. Due to a high demand for tickets, it is possible for certain ticket types to sell out in the time it takes for you to checkout and results in an empty basket. This is due to the large number of customers attempting to purchase for the same event at one time. “I must say the £11.50 booking fee is way to much just for purchasing tickets. Other from that pretty much a good service.”

“Bit annoyed as the web page had let me select some tickets at a lower price and let me proceed to the next page. Then suddenly I was redirected and I had lost my tickets and the price had gone up by £20.”

“I really wanted vip tickets for lost and found festival but when I went to purchase the tickets they had only sold out that day, it would of been nice to have some sort of a warning for the last remaining tickets so I could of bought them sooner”

While Ticket Arena accept debit and credit card payments as well as Apple and Google pay we do not currently accept Paypal. “A few times now I’ve had issues using my Visa to make purchases. It is my main credit card I use for pretty much everything but for some reason it doesn’t seem to be accepted for some purchases. Maybe because I’m Canadian and there are exchange discrepancies or something. Luckily my back up Mastercard worked for the purchases that my Visa did not.”
