Thanks for the feedback. Glad you like the tie! Our free shipping option is clearly marked as untracked and 4-9 weekdays. It's a popular option for customers who aren't in a hurry. If you want tracked and faster shipping, we have several options for just a few pounds extra, including next-day delivery.

Bought 3 bow ties but one came without the necessary hooks/catches. All being dealt with tieroom but sad that the Christmas bow tie couldn’t be used at Christmas

Dear Tieroom, We loved the peach baby bow tie for our 5 month old baby. It matched our coral colour scheme beautifully. We do however think the £31 price tag is a little extreme for such a product and the main reason we couldn’t give more than 3 Stars, as value for money is questionable. However, the order was quickly processed, despatched and received in good time prior to our event. Great product and service but too expensive!

Delivery took a long time and came from Sweden which I wasn’t aware of. Also the tie was a lot lighter in colour than it appeared on the website so I had to send it back.

Choice and delivery was good. But please start selling pre-tied bow ties that look more like self tied ones.

I wouldn't have ordered if I had realised the company was not UK based. Partly as I like to support local companies but more importantly as it was a gift and I needed it delivered in a few days. It got held up in Sweden and took weeks to arrive. I was given a £5 compensation payment, but that wasn't really the point. Be honest and make it clear to UK customers you are not a UK company

Hi Miranda, I fully understand you are upset the package did not arrive in time. We are so sorry for this. Getting you the package on time is our responsibility, and we failed. For this specific order, the delay was due to the strikes at the Royal Mail, and your package was held up after it reached the UK. The strikes impacted all shipments within the UK, no matter whether they were shipped from abroad or not. Like many companies these days, we offer our products globally. The UK is our biggest market, and we ship thousands of orders to the UK each month. For UK orders, we pay UK VAT, we have a UK return address, we offer customer service in perfect English over email and phone, and, if it matters, two out of three founders are half English. The contact details on our site clearly state where the company is based if someone wants to know. Ensuring shipments arrive on time is something we put massive effort into. Like any e-commerce company, we have to rely on partners to ensure this, and, unfortunately, there are no companies with a perfect track record when it comes to delivering on time for every order. Things like strikes, accidents, pandemics, human error, etc are always a factor. Our track record of 99% of orders on time is, we believe, as good as it gets. Still, that one in a hundred package that gets delayed upsets us as much as the customer, and we are so sorry you ended up being one of these delayed packages. I hope you can understand. The tie was nice when it finally arrived. It was what we expected it to look like. Unfortunately couldn’t wear it to the event we bought it for. Delivery is 3-9 weekdays, it arrived on the ninth working day, so be aware before you place your order.

Bought four silk bow ties from the UK. They were great, very nice indeed but they arrived too late for the wedding I bought them for. The website had a UK address and stated delivery would be 4-9 days, par for UK delivery which in practice almost always translates to delivery within a day or two. The website did not disclose that the goods were coming from outside the UK, which inevitably meant there was no chance of meeting my deadline.

Good quality, however the colour we received is not coral, is copper. Unfortunately we will have to return.

Nice products - really slow delivery to UK. Assumed you were a UK company as you have a .uk website. However the products come from mainland Europe??

Correct, our European warehouse is just across the water, in Sweden. So standard mail can take a few days (4 on average) but our express options are delivered within 24hrs.

Usually really happy with the products, but had to return the latest (and pay my own postage) as it was bought to match my partner's outfit, and the tie didn't match the picture closely enough.

Thanks for your feedback! We put a lot of effort into making sure the photos reflect reality. It is though an impossible task to have the images look the same on all different screens out there. With that said, we'll take an extra look at the products you purchased and see if there are any improvements we can make. The question of free returns is always an ongoing debate. Our experience is that it gets abused with customers being careless as to what they order, resulting in a lot of extra shipments and, in the end, higher product prices instead. Glad you were happy with previous purchase and I hope you'll give us a new shot in the future.
