“For the small number of pallets I need to move, once or twice a year, these are a perfect fit. They do the job, and match the capacity of my older tractor. The price point for these is awesome. The cost of a dedicated fork frame just doesn't work for my use case.
The weekend I got them, I moved 8 pallets worth of items out of a carport and into an ISO container. That would have been back-breaking work by hand or with the tractor bucket. But with the forks, it was pretty straightforward. The forks went into the same container, and I probably won't touch them again until spring.
Full Disclosure: These are not a replacement for a dedicated pallet fork frame. They take a some tinkering to keep them straight and engage a pallet correctly, especially if your bucket is not perfectly straight. With the bucket in place, it is hard to see much more than the tips of the forks, so it is easy to misjudge the alignment. I don't mind the the tinkering and I am willing to take a little extra time so these are perfect for me. If you need to use forks more frequently, or you are not comfortable with tinkering you will probably be disappointed with these.”
