Ordered vacuum cleaner online , it arrived in a box in a sealed bag ,on opening the bag found the box to be in a bit of a state , it had been opened before tools and guide removed from plastic sleeves , and the cleaner hose missing , there was also dirty white towel, in the box ,tried to contact Hughes but the don't accept phone calls for web purchases , I have sent 3 emails with no reply

Your web site is rubbish I tried to get Roman ladies clothes on here and was unable to access it when looking and typing in a item it comes up with something entirely the opposite to what I typed in

Very poor service. Made me wait 25 min to find out if the discount price was on offer or not as after scan price states as original. And in the end th manager refused to to sell the item as she said it's the last one and she's unsure on price.

Ordered a pair of joggers that they managed to leave the tag on, looked for a customer service contact number to then find after being on hold for 20 mins the call was charging me a ridiculous price. So now I have a huge phone bill, and a pair of joggers with a nice, big piece of metal stuck to them! Definitely wont order from them ever again.

Where do I start??? I purchased 2 packs of the Silentnight 4pk Ultrabounce pillows in-store at £12.99 per pack from the Middlesbrough branch today, only to find out they are only £9.99 on their website! I tried (& failed), miserably to contact the store & was on hold for 3/4's of an hour say "your call is very important & I'm 1st in the Q".......Yer right!! Gave up & contacted Head Office & spoke to a lady there & explained the problem that the staff at the M'bro store haven't been trained in "How to answer a phone", there as I've been hanging on for nearly an hour with no response from the store! I then explained the price cock-up & was assured someone would contact me straight away. nearly 3 hours later, I get's a phone call from the M'bro branch & was given the excuse that the prices online & cheaper than they are in-store because of overheads & to sort it, return the one's I bought for a refund. Then order them online to get them at the cheaper price & do a "Click & Collect". All well n good doing this, but I'm Disabled & can't get about too good & this method would be a lot of hassle! And, why wasn't this mentioned to me by the lady at Head Office when I was speaking to her?? Can you smell that?? It's called B/S, & it stinks!! She even had the cheek to keep butting in whilst you tried (& failed again!), to explain the situation & it just ended up as a "Take it or leave it" situation to be honest. Very un-professional service in your M'bro store & with a VERY lacks attitude to be honest. Don't think I'll be popping in there again once this is sorted. Seems a shame, as some good stuff in there, it's just the staff's lack of umpfh.

I bought a Binatone SM 800 mobile phone in December as a Christmas gift. My Husband cannot use it as the buttons are so small he mis keys all the time. The phone does not turn to give a larger keypad. He is really disappointed with the phone because it was a gift from me. It is advertised as an easy starter phone but I also struggle to use it. We have yet to retrieve a voicemail.

I order a tv , then receive an email telling me it has been dispatched to store , from Liverpool to Manchester , 4 days later contact store ,they don't have it , so contact t j hughes , told it can take 7 days to travel from Liverpool to Manchester ..what's it doing walking .. even sports direct aren't this bad , so I will give it one more day then cancel , although I expect that will take longer , just wished I had read the reviews before I ordered , will never buy from t j hughes again all for the sake of £10 off should have used curry I would have had it the next day ... READ THE REVIEWS THEN DON'T THINK ... JUST AVOID T J HUGHES

Worst experience buying online ever!!! Item did not turn up 3 weeks after purchase and didn't even receive refund until nearly a further two weeks after due to an "error". Will never order anything from TJ Hughes again!!!!!!

On the 9th of December I ordered and payed online for an electric heater via click and collect , I received an email few days later informing me my purchase had been dispatched to store, looking good so far, a few days later I thought I go look for an update and tracking details , no emails, few days later still no email , decided get in touch with customer service , was informed that it would be chased up , emails back and forward with still no joy , was offered a refund and I said I've waited this long so it can't be much longer , received a final email on the 3rd of Jan saying sorry they have to refund me and I would just have to go into store and buy one as they can't reorder for me !! Firstly on previous emails I told them I wasn't long after an op and on two crutches hence reason for not going in to store and secondly when I went into home page to check stock , hey ho !! Out of stock , so what do we do ? Reorder online !! I don't think so , NEVER AGAIN ,ps,it's 6th Jan still no refund yet ,, Myra

AWFUL - NEVER ORDER AGAIN - ITEMS OUT OF STOCK EVEN THOUGH PAYMENT TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT ! SOME OF THE GOODS ARRIVED AFTER NUMEROUS EMAILS ! ORDERED T SHIRT TURNED UP ON A HANGER BUT CRUMPLED UP IN THE BOTTOM OF THE PARCEL, DIRTY MARKS ALL OVER IT !

Long wait for delivery and I wanted Items before Christmas. I was given three delivery dates the last being 23 December and Items did not arrive on that date. I contacted to complain but no apology or explanation given just another email giving a date after Christmas. I accepted this late delivery and got as far as hanging the first pair of curtains. One curtain was at least 3cm longer than another and the lining on a second curtain was visibly hanging below the bottom hem line. I arranged to return the curtains personally to TJ Hughes Triumph Way Depot and did this at 12.00 on 29 December. I am currently awaiting a full refund. This is the worst on-line ordering and delivery service I have ever experienced and the goods were of a very poor standard obviously made in a factory without any quality controls. Never Again!

The Team were advised that the items were faulty to which you were offered the free collection processes that could be used to facilitate the refund you requested. I purchased Davidoff Cool Water EDT and double checked via the product photo that it was indeed an EDT spray. It arrived after almost 2 weeks and was the cheap Aftershave Splash (non-spray). I have incredibly upset as it wasn't the item I wanted and was too embarrassed to give it as a present. After a delayed response from Customer 'Service' I was told I had got what I had ordered. It took days and numerous emails where I literally had to bullet point the ways in which it was mis-sold for T J Hughes to admit their error and offer me a £5 store credit (I will probably never use), they offered to send me the correct item once they were in receipt of the incorrect one. Far too much hassle to find someone with a printer/get it posted and the event i purchased it for had passed.

Ordered my items online before Christmas, after it said on the website last day to order for it to be delivered for Christmas. So I ordered my items, received the confirmation and email then a further update email to say that my order had been dispatched to the store, which was on the 17th December. However, I still haven't received my items and has no other email since!

Hi, I am really not happy.. I have tried emailing and have not got a reply. My order WEB17745 says it is ready for collection I have been in store two times and had the same rude lady telling me my product is not in store. I ordered this for a Christmas present and for some reason "it's not in store" even though I've had confirmation. I would like a refund immediately as I will not be going back into town and paying for parking another time to try and collect this and get the same rude lady. Thank you
