Ordered Jean-Paul Gaultier Eau de Cologne as a Xmas gift. Cologne bottle was smartly packaged in a stainless steel tin - unfortunately badly dented and damaged on arrival. Product could have been more carefully packaged to avoid damage. Unfortunately due to time constraints leading up to Xmas, kept purchase for myself and bought alternative gift locally for friend. I'm sure TJ Hughes would have refunded/replaced but with insufficient time, decided not to bother. Won't be buying from TJ Hughes again.

Still havent received my item ordered at the beginning of December. I emailed but heard nothing for weeks to be told there has been a 'glitch' Won't be shopping with you again.

I am very disapointed. I ordered a christmas present and i paid for home delivery. i recieved an email telling me it had been deliverd to your widness store! I rang your store and they confirmed it was there so i travelled all the way from ellesmere port to collect it. I have sent an email and recieved nothing back to claim my postage i paid.

I bought some ellesse men's trousers online from TJ Hughes before xmas for £19.99, when I received these my son tried them on and in the pocket was 2 betting slips from Liverpool. I was shocked that these have obviously been worn returned and then packaged and sent to me. I went to the shop in Hartlepool and asked for the manager who told me he cannot do anything for me and that I had to take the trousers away with me and send them back to T J Hughes online. I advised that this wouldnt be done In time for xmas and his reply was I'm sorry there is nothing I can do. This service was shocking and I will never shop at TJ Hughes again because I do not want to purchase second hand clothing. Absolutely disgusted at this service. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a nightmare!!! Ordered some curtains for delivery only for them to be sent to store, well I say sent to store! They actually got sent back to depot cause the address had been put on wrong. After numerous phone calls to numerous people I finally got through to a lady who could help rearrange delivery so over 2 weeks later I finally got my curtains which are lovely but not really worth all the hassle. Won't be shopping online with you again!!

Never ever would I order anything online with TJ Hughes again! Ordered a television for my son for Christmas ( he was getting a PS4 for Christmas so needed a tv) ordered on the 14th of December and wasn't made aware of any delays. Received an email from Yodel to tell me they would be delivering by a certain day, no worries. 21st of December no tv, phoned Yodel and they didn't have it to deliver. Tried on many occasions to contact TJ Hughes customer care to no avail (the lines were down for maintenance, who does maintenance a few days before Christmas????? ) Got to speak to someone eventually from customer care who rang from the number I tried so many times!!! Apparently there was a problem with Yodel and I was promised next day delivery from DPD. I received no tv before Christmas from TJ Hughes and all I got was an apology for the inconvenience. I demanded a refund which I eventually got after all the lies!

Royal mail didn't leave a non delivery card so the time for delivery had expired I contacted your customer service and they said it was up to me to arrange delivery with Royal mail but as I explained numerous times they were awaiting instructions from TJ Hughes once again your colleague said it was up to me to make delivery so I was faced with the prospect of not having the tiles delivered. And losing my money And I couldnt collect the towels because I didnt have a Royal mail non delivery notification card ! At this stage your CSD offered no help whatsoever!! Your CSD service was unwilling to help resolve the situation as Royal mail were awaiting instructions from TJ Hughes and after a lot of tooing and froing tj hughes csd I presume issued instructions to royal mail so I managed to arrange delivery of the towels as a result of this bad buying Experience I will not be purchasing from TJ Hughes again

Ordered a t shirt on 28/11/16 for click and collect couldn't believe I had to wait until 6/12/16 to collect it from store. I then needed to return it which I did on 14/12/16. It is now 3/1/17 and I still have had no refund. So all I can say is the service is atrocious would never buy from them again

The boxes on two of the items were in a right state they were presants and it was embarassing to gift them , how close it was to christmas i could do nothing about this , it looked like they were the last items off shelf which had messed with and damamged i dont think damage would of came from delivary either otherwise items wouldnt of even worked how i assume it was how they were sent to me

Waited 5 weeks for a delivery to be told delivery driver couldn't find us. We live in a big pub !! Then you had no stock left so had to have a refund

Placed an order in November for a Xmas present and website showed in stock. The money was taken from my account but goods were not delivered, sent numerous e mails no reply then several weeks later received an e mail guaranteeing delivery. Day after, another e mail saying one of the orders were not available! The goods that I did receive for Xmas gift are not suitable can't understand why as my husband has similar Lacoste polo shirts which have fitted but this one was far too short. Sent back at my own cost, despite still waiting for refund for other goods which you could not honour but took my money! Noticed on receipt that return must be within 14 days???? Still waiting refund. Your online service is antiquated and not at all customer focused, therefore I would not ever use again.

Xmas presents that I ordered never turned up I contacted TJ Hughes and they told me some of the order was out of stock 2 weeks after ordering them!!!!

The service was awful took me 2 months to get refund. One customer service lady Laura was lovely the other one was rude. Il never use this shop again

After ordering 3 items which were Christmas presents, approximately 3 weeks later 2 items eventually arrived, but were smashed and only when I enquired (communication is by email only, which is time consuming and annoying!!), I was told the third item was out of stock!!! Even though I have emailed many times, and been told I am due a refund, the funds have not yet been credited to my PayPal account and I have had to raise a dispute!! It's very frustrating to have to constantly enquire and ask - not good customer service and inadequate systems in place!

I found the communication from TJ Hughes poor and the quality of staff and their service in the Sheffield Moor shop very lax and and uncoordinated. I waited many weeks for my purchase to arrive at the Moor shop and paid many unfruitful visits which frustrated me: The above has only cemented in my views how TJ Hughes is a second class shopping outlet.

1 ordered items then told they where not in stock after i phoned and kept waiting on phone for 30minutes and when i finally got through to be cut off twice and when i did get someone to be told it would be another 5days not again

the worst company i have ever bought from online. awful service from day one. never recieved goods even though i had paid. even going into store i still could not get goods.even though my item was there. because i brought paypal in to try and get my money back they just did not want to know. a total farce from tj hughes. never ever again will i use this company. a total and utter disgrace.
