I ordered aftershave and face cream as Christmas gifts and neither arrived, after numerous phone calls to chase the order which cost me £27as I have just discovered!! I was told items were not in stock, not impressed will not use this company again.

Poor quality off clothing, also took over 2 weeks to be delivered. My 1 year old nephew could package better.

Very poor and almost non-existent customer service. Charged me for an item I did not receive and failed to let me know that they could not dispatch it to me. Got a refund after weeks of repeatedly sending them messages on Twitter and their Web Form. I wouldn't buy from them again no matter how good of a deal they're advertising.

very poor serviceunbelievable from such a big storeasked to collect in Widnes phone customer services cost approximately £6 sent to London Road Liverpooltold to call back laterask the person who deals with click and collect have gone for lunch spoke to manager after one hour got my purchase very poor service very happy with the purchase just poor service

I couldn't find anywhere on the website that gave me the option of returning my order. The email for my click and collect said that if I didn't collect my order within 7 Days then it would be sent back to the Depo and I would be refunded, so I didn't collect it to allow this process to happen. HOWEVER when I rang 16 days later my order was still in store waiting to be collected ( this was the Bury store). They said the only option they could offer me was for them to send my order back to the Depo, which has been done.. BUT I still haven't been refunded. This order was from November 26th.. A month later and I still have not been refunded!!!!!

Very poor customer service. The gift set was advertised as 50ml perfume, when it arrived it was a 30ml. After numerous phone calls passed to various departments an email address was given. Unsatisfactory answer given, (sorry, we have advised our web team to change the description), I again emailed and was offered £5 to be added to my account. As I bought SIX gift sets, I was 120ml perfume short! So I don't think £5 covers it. However, at the time of email/correspondence I was nursing my mam with terminal cancer a 100 miles away from home. Quite frankly I would not recommend using TJHughes to anyone.

Click and collect at TJs is a joke i ordered a cleaner it is in stock at my local store but i have to wait for it to be delivered from Liverpool and have been charged delivery, the whole point of click and collect is free delivery,information at the check out process is almost nil. My first and last purchase.

Do not buy from this site. I ordered goods on the 23rd Nov only received 1 of the five items ordered. Have e-mailed ,made numerous phone calls still have not got the 4 bottles of perfume which were to be Christmas presents. Spoken several times to customer services who keep promising they will send the goods. Don' t suppose I will have any joy with the money either. Complete bah humbug site.

They have very bad website. I have never seen such a difficult web site. The stock are low. The refund process are taking more than 2 weeks although they do a mistake such as (damaged delivery and unable to replace it). I did not get my money back yet, but they put the same items to the stock. Very bad customer service. If i do not ask a questions, i will not receive any update about my order.

I placed on order on 29th November, no confirmation received and my order hadn't been received but the money was taken. It's impossible to make any contact to discuss. Two emails sent and no reply

Would never order from them again lost an order couldn't get any help untill I got the resovler web site to sort it out

We have reviewed your order and can see that the order in reference was not allocated by our third party courier initially which caused the delay in delivery - the Customer Service team responded to your email account once notified that delivery had not taken place - in which an order was immediately sent out as a replacement. I ordered a Lacoste polo on December 2nd still haven't received this item, nor has there been any email saying when it's being dispatched, they have taken payment. They have no number to call them, also I've sent two emails asking what is happening with my order without reply

We are sorry to hear that you have received such a negative experience and we have since reviewed your order. Due to the high influx of emails we experienced over the Christmas period - we did notify customers that the response time was up to 5 working days – having checked the correspondences recorded we can see that a response was given to you by the remitted time – but we apologise regardless that we did not provide a much prompter response. During December we experienced a technical glitch which delayed the stock levels transferring to our website and despite attempting to source the stock from alternative locations (hence the delay in the later e-mail) we resigned to the fact that cancellations of the items was our last resort. Appalling customer service!! Ordered perfume & aftershave which stated IN STOCK on website paid through PayPal. Then 4 days later received email advising that they were awaiting stock. Checked order status which stated order cancelled. No telephone number on website to contact customer service so filled in online query form. 3 days later received reply to inform me order had been cancelled but no mention of why or refund. Searched on Google and found a tel number and gave them call. Excuse I got was item out of stock so they cancelled order (without telling me) , was told I would be refunded immediately back to PayPal. 8 days later and still no sign of refund. Opened dispute through pal have sent a further 4 messages to this company but had NO reply. Quick to take money but any problems and they just couldn't care less. Definitely won't buy from again.

I went tj Hughes today in Chelmsford and was absoulety disgusted with the way the store. There are boxes everywhere you couldn't go down a isle cause there where boxes in the way. It's an accident waiting to happen.

Ordered an item on line for a birthday present. The item didn't turn up on the date it was supposed to so therefore i had to go out and purchase a new birthday present. I received an email about a week after the due delivery date stating that the order had been lost at the couriers and there was no more available. I then sent an email complaining about this to which i have not received any correspondence what so ever from them and it is now a week on from me sending so i am very disappointed. It would not have been too difficult for them to apologise for their error not mine. Paul
