After waiting over a year for delivery and many requests for replacements I still am being told to wait. This is totally unacceptable. Any reputable company would just replace the missing items! Do not order from this company!

Fraudulent Activity. In error 12 month subscription was billed in full. While pending we attempted to reach out to cancel with no success. We will be meeting with our Financial Institution in the morning as instructed by them after speaking with them early Saturday morning regarding the pending charge at the time by Tokyo Treat. We will be disputing the charges as instructed by our Bank & contacting the Better Business Bureau & The Federal Trade Commission.

They refuse to correct an issue with a missing crate while keeping my money. I have been trying to deal with their customer service for almost a year.

I signed up for a 3 month subscription, and as soon as my 3rd one was shipped, I checked to make sure to cancel. My account setting had no active subscription, but then I got billed for the 4th one, I tried to dispute but they gave me a bs- explanation that it’s auto-renewal.

They steal. Every 3 months instead of charging the regular $10-$11, they charge $100+. And then continue to charge monthly. It is also difficult to cancel; I had to cancel through PayPal.

Delivery - Late Delivery cost - 12.50 per box as long as covid exists, each time a box ships they charge for it, even if a gift Snacks - All rice-based airy snacks. After two boxes, they seemed nearly identical. None of them were good. I have several snack subscription boxes and they all are better. Website - Confusing options for subscription and in order to get a definitive amount, you have to gift it. - GO ELSEWHERE

I had a horrible experience with TokyoTreat. I signed up for a 6 month subscription starting last September. During the 6 months I only received 1 box which was the December box- in February. I frequently spoke to their customer service and nothing was done about this. When i did receive the 1 box, I had to pay extra for delivery. Yesterday I found out they had auto renewed with no warning and charged me for an extra 6 months. I again contacted customer service and they said it was not possible to refund me. I am so angry, why would I pay for a product that I am not receiving! They just copy and paste the same responses to everyone. What they are doing at this point is theft!

Products are dry and some taste stale. Terrible customer service, misleading labels. I purchased a 3 month subscription and cancelled my subscription. Or so I thought! The cancellation did not go through properly and they charged me again. I contacted customer service the day it was charged before the box has been even sent and they refuse to do anything about it. Clearly the care less about customer care then making the sale.

I signed up last September for 6 months worth of boxes from October-March. I only received the December box. Whenever I contacted Tokyo Treat they apologised and said they had been shipped and I should have got them. Biggest waste of money ever.

I have ordered my October 2020 Box and this was shipped on the 19th of Sept 2020, because of my country I had to take the "Surface Mail shipping" which leaves me waiting 60 - 90 days. I agreed and waited. Fast forward to 22nd December 2020 (94 Days later) I call our Post Office and they have not received the package so I leave it since it's near Christmas they are most probably busy and haven't got to it yet. on 8th Jan 2021 (108 days later) They have gone through their backlog and have not received my package. I log a fault with Tokyo Treat and their "Customer Service" informs me that everything is good on their side and they cannot do anything but wait to see if the package is returned to their warehouse. If I allow this then I basically have to wait another 90 days or more for them to even get this package, if this package was not picked up by someone and taken away or fell of truck, ship or whatever. I was informed that I will not get a refund, I just have to wait and then they blame covid again for the back log when my has dropped our high lockdown levels all the way back in September, which is why I placed the order. furthermore there is no tracking on Surface mail so I don't even know where my package is waiting for me which is extremely scary. There's no support from this company, I can't comment on the other shipping method but if its left to Surface mail I suggest you look elsewhere for your sweets. I will not be supporting this company again and I am extremely unhappy to wait more than 100 days with no end in sight for my package,

I applied for a 3 month subscription but they charged me for 12 months. Beware! It says in the hard to find terms of service that they dont give refunds for any reason...even tho it was their mistake. Their customer service is terrible...there is no US phone number and when you email, they acknowledge they've received it but dont answer your question. I would never recommend this company to anyone

Not all that I expected. I was charged a lump sum twice and I was told that they can't cancel the second charge. Then they charged 10.95 extra monthly. I wrote to them why I'm being charged and never heard back. Better off going to an Japanese market to find some of these things.

Received the box quickly. BUT Very disappointed with their customer service. I thought I paid for 1 box only. But apparently had a 3 month subscription. I got charged for a second box without my consent. The email got send in my trash box so I never saw it and got the chance to cancel my 3 months subscription. I wrote to them the day after the money got taken on my credit card and they replied that they couldn’t refund any money because the box got charged for this month. Won’t buy from them again. Very poor service and not even worth the money.

Very unflexible and stubborn, they want to charge >10 USD extra shipping and refuse to refund. Scammy, first charge a clear price, then ask for more money otherwise no shipping of boxes. In addition of automatic subscription renewal. Very annoying, would not buy from them any more. Sorry cannot recommend.

This company is so dishonest. I paid for September box in August and never received it only to go on Reddit and see that this is a regular occurrence where people don’t receive their boxes and never get refunds just some automated mail from your customer service. I wouldn’t recommend anyone purchasing from these people. They’re scam artists.

My first order was fast, second ordered i paid 10$ for fast delivery and its been more than 40days and still didn’t receive, although when u choose the fast delivery they promise you to get it in 14-28days, and when i contact them they say sorry but they have a lot of orders and thats why it’s taking to long, and they didn’t even offered to refund my extra delivery fees. So all they did is say sorry
