“Called local wood stove businesses to purchase two pieces of ceramic glass for my wood/coal stove,was told that it would be any where from 2 to 3 weeks till they could get to cutting and then calling me to pick it up. Went online and found Mike at Woostove-fireplace glass had in 2 days at my house and I installed them that day. Kept my fire burning and heat going. Didn't know if cracked glass would have lasted 2 more weeks. Both old pieces broke apart when I was taking them out. Thanks, Mike for keeping us safe and warm!”

“Took a ridiculously long time to process the order. Glass came scratched and contaminated with something. Glass turned completely black with the first fire. Had to scrub the residue off. The rope gasket that I bought with it was very thin and cheap. Probably keep this as a spare and order a replacement from a more reputable company”

Tim, Sorry for your disappointment. my guess is that you ordered tempered glass but really needed ceramic glass. Tempered glass - like it shows on our site - before you placed the order (in Red) takes 10-14 days to process. It also can only withstand up to about 450 degrees F. after that - yes you will have some issues as well as the glass eventually breaking.

“The shipping was fast. Turns out that they had shipped the wrong size of glass, I emailed Mike & the issue was taken care of w/o an issue. Another 3 business days & I had the correct glass & a return label for sending the other glass back. If I need to order glass or more gasket material… it will be from this company.”
