Good central location. Staff lovely but noisy bottle emptying from nearby pub in the middle of the night was not so lovely.

Room okay but for family with 10 years old and 14 years old beds very small Restaurant far too small for all the guests for breakfast with long waiting times for any food as containers with hash browns or scrambled egg, pancakes etc… so small in this buffet that after two/three people put on a plate you had to wait another 10-15 minutes for more food. No one was even checking if you paid for breakfast or not so I suggest they should start take times from guests when they want to come for breakfast that would definitely help

Triple room. One of the single beds , the linen had stains, resembling mould.. Shower room . No shower gel.

The room was very small. I couldn't fit in the bathroom without having the door open. I couldn't close it when I sat on the toilet. There was only a small shower cubicle. No bath tub. The room creaked. The back panel to the bed was wooden and that made noises when I turned the light on but even when I turned it off, it continued to making noises. Another guest who had a room a few doors down, had a dog. I heard it bark as I walked past the door and it continued to bark. Even when I was in my own room. I heard in bark again in the early hours and again in the morning. I don't understand why you allowed dogs in the hotel? I also found the covers too heavy. I didn't sleep a wink. I couldn't wait to leave and come home so I can get a decent nights sleep in my own bed. I'll never stay in another Travelodge for as long as I live. I left something in the room and tried to contact Travelodge but the number provided on their website is a premier number. I finally found my room card which provided a number to ring, for some reason this was a London code. I rung them, only to be asked to ring tomorrow when the cleaning manager was back at work. Why wasn't I offered for them to ring me back? Why do I have to go to the inconvenience. I did however, find the staff at this Travelodge to be friendly.

You lose your basket contents when you log in. Credit card details are held but cannot be edited by the user. Otherwise, the experience is good.

I am aware Travelodge is a basic hotel, but charging for WiFi was too much for me.

Slow to check in. Should have been able to at 3.00 but room not ready and it seemed the same for many other people arriving between 3.00 and 3.30. Although obviously very difficult to clean the exterior window of the room that we were in was filthy.

Stayed 2 nights Changed towels when they didn’t need changing but didn’t top up milk or toilet roll. Rooms look like they’re ready for an update. Location quite good.

My credit card failed the first time and I tried seven times to re-enter but it kept giving me an error on the postcode! Eventually I had to use my daughters name and start again.

It was very difficult to book a reservation on your website. First, it blocked the payment, then added rooms to the reservation, only after a few hours it was possible. Bad experience.

Online portal stated that we could book using AMEX but when it came to paying we wasn't able to input our AMEX card details.

Although the shower worked fine the shower curtain was a joke, it was to short and set to close to the edge resulting in water all over the floor this is dangerous as you could easily slip the bathroom is very tight so if you fell you would certainly come in contact with fittings

I am only commenting on the booking process, I will not be staying at the Travel Lodge until July. I realised that the Breakfast to Go extra is not good value and is not what we need, we can go down to Cornwall Services just down the road and get a much more comprehensive variety of breakfast options including hot food. I found the cancellation process of the Breakfast to Go very convoluted, Travel Lodge needs to improve this procedure, having said this, I have always found Travel Lodge to be value for money in the past

The actual booking process was ok but I had trouble trying to pay. You need to adjust your systems so MacBook safari users can pay. In the end I had to go through booking process several times eventually resorting to doing it all again on my phone so I could pay

Disappointed with the cost Having stayed several times at a travel lodge there appears to be no way of earning any discounts No discount codes ever seem to work

Abit disappointed as small hanger for clothes but nowhere to put other clothing . Nothing to put by the shower to step onto so had to use the ONE hand towel left for TWO people. Also a dated shower curtain which kept clinging to your body when taking a shower. Our room looked clean but the place did have a stale smell about it. We saw several people have problems with their keys which is obviously something that happens often as the reception staff mentioned it when we booked in. Reception staff who we only saw when booking in we're pleasant and friendly.
