Think the website was playing up when I booked as it kept taking me elsewhere on the site. Did it eventually

It was really easy to book , however the frequent changing of the cost of the same room was concerning . thank you.

The service is still called modern, but why can't the people who are wondering already in the hotel not be able to renew their stay on the spot?

The website feels slightly different. When first trying to book it did not take me to the pages I expected, and with higher rates.

Good room unfortunately they were let down by a few issues, number one being the floor had not been vacuum cleaned and it showed. The room was missing toilet paper when I first checked in. The reception staff where obliging and helped where they could. The hotel itself is very well situated.

Everything was clean and tidy. The price was good for the location and area. One thing to notice is that the hotel is located over a subway line and you can hear it. There were also works going in a building next to the hotel, and the workers started from 7 on a Saturday. It was cold in the room and the electric heater it had a really bad smell. The restaurant it only had 7-8 tables of 2 people and 3-4 of 4 people, therefore it gets really crowded on breakfast and you may have to wait for other people to go in order to be seated.

The hotel is centrally located in a great location with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. While it can be noisy this is to be expected in a central location. While I do recommend this hotel and have booked a stay there again soon, I have rated lower for the following reasons. One of the lifts wasn't working for the duration of our stay, which while not a major problem for us could be an inconvenience to others. Secondly, the plughole in the sinc wouldn't open so water took ages to flow out. We did report on two occasions but even after 3 nights it hadn't been resolved. Finally, and I know this isn't the hotel's problem, parking in Swansea is now expensive and inflexible. I feel that the council should work with hotel providers in the area to provide cost savings, after all, if tourism is to be encouraged people don't want to be stung with high parking costs.

Prices increased daily. Blue light discount wouldn’t work. Expensive for 1 night

The Website is pretty useless. It's ok for booking a hotel, but when you log into your account to find your hotel bookings; you are informed that you have no upcoming bookings. The only way to find your booking is to go through your emails and find your confirmation email.

Would stay here again if needed as the location is amazing but the cleanliness could have been better. Good - Location. Next to Walthamstow Central; practically on top of it. - the bed and pillows were very comfortable. - the room's kettle, shower, taps and toilet all worked as expected. - ample coffee and tea sachets etc plus door sign to hang if you wanted refills. - the power was consistent and all lights were working. - the staff; really accommodating and helpful. Jas on reception when we checked out was great, she deserves a raise if there's one going. Meh - You needed to pay for internet. The price was £3 for 24 hours, £6 for 48 so no incentives to bulk buy. Signal strength was patchy. I had to resend some emails. - The self service hot drinks machine in the bar was broken but staff were happy to help sort something if you wanted something. Bad - Some of the cleanliness: 1.In the room on arrival the plastic back of a blister plaster was on the floor, along with a broken pen; both looked like they had fallen out of a bin perhaps on the way out of the door from the previous guest. 2. Curious dried drop of raspberry pink on the shower basin from previous guest - shower gel? 3. Coffee bar floor good. Coffee bar raised floor shelves where maybe you would consider putting your bag near your feet - grim :-/

Made an error whilst booking so had to phone customer service who changed it for me and I paid the difference, however I was very disappointed when I came of call and checked the price on line to realise they had charged me a much higher rate along with the admin fee , yet still put it through as saver rate. Will never use them again.

The good point: I managed to book my stay. Less good: the process was quite glitchy. The site froze during my first attempt to book, so I had to start again, successfully this time.
