I got to the point on the website to book, but could not see how to pay, so had to phone the EXPENSIVE booking line for help. The helpful young lady pointed me in the right direction and I was eventually able to pay. I have never had this problem before. Hence the score of 3.

Staff nice and friendly, however, the whole place could do with a refurb, carpets dirty, paintwork dirty and peeling, it's a shame as it's in a really convenient place.

Very tired building and furniture, shower only just warm enough, atrocious WiFi we paid for. However the staff members, particularly Michelle on Friday and Cidy on Saturday were super helpful and friendly,,,, pay them more!!!!

Was looking at hotel you sent me an email with rate, by the time I cln hour later it had gone up by £11. Also why does it cost more to add a day to an existing booking than doing a whole new booking for an extra day.

Receptionist very good, couldn't have been more helpful. Room basic but acceptable, carpet needed replacing, very grubby but you get what you pay for. Bathroom very clean, lovely towels, hotel had a very grubby feel on all carpets.

I wanted to book a room for Tuesday night in Norwich but was unable to select room size, only family room offered at a price rise from other Travelodge rooms in Norwich.

Was pleased with being able to book time and place easy enough but after, saw advert for Trivago and thought I would test it out. Shocked to see I could have saved £79.50. I find this appalling. I thought going direct would be cheaper and feel I have been ripped off. I often use Travelodge and am very sad there no loyalty from you on prices.

Good basic rooms but never yet been in a Travelodge with working internet which is not very good for business travelling and they need to stop profiteering with prices on Saturdays and ban holidays

Site is easy to use and quick. Low rating because the price is getting out of line with what people can afford. OK I understand I am staying over a weekend just to go to the NFL game at Wembley and you are going to make your teeth meet and make as much as you can but with ticket prices hotel I doubt I will be back next year!

I do not understand why dogs are charged £20 each per night. This is far in excess of other hotels which welcome dogs. I would happily pay a deposit and pay subsequently if it was seen to need additional cleaning on departure

It's a good and efficient service but prices are creeping up to double what they used to be, in case anyone didn't notice. That is tending to send me away from travelodge as a first choice because other hotel groups are starting to be better value.

I could book very easily, but there was no way to put in a senior discount code.

Where I wanted to stay was too expensive....so booked Dunfermline where I don't want to be.

Travelodge product is good but the online reservation process is laborious. Made a booking for 5 night in 4 locations and had to make individual bookings taking almost half an hour. I have a log in so was surprised that the platform doesn't allow multiple bookings to be made before asking for one single payment. Premier Inn have been doing this for years.

Room comfortable, a few issues with stay: 1. Shower wash empty (replenished when I raised but too late for the shower I was taking) 2. A live cockroach (very small) in one of the towels (I reported to reception) 3. The AC not working (control locked out)

Too much generic stuff about Travelodge. Not enough specific stuff - a map showing the location, customer reviews - and the search criteria keep resetting themselves. I got fed up having to type them in time and again.
