“It's clean that's about it. Room looks empty, no fridge, hairdryer or iron, only 1 chair. One lift is out of order and the other looks like its been hit by a hammer on the door. Totally basic and no parking. On main road so very noisy. I should have read more before booking. I won't be back.”

“June 2023 The hotel is in a great location in Cardiff just off the M48 / M4 and close to the park / ride into the Cardiff City centre. I stay at this hotel on a regular basis as my son is based in Cardiff for work and his degree course. I break my journey to mid Wales staying at this hotel. The rooms are always clean and well-aired when I arrive. The staff are both welcoming and very helpful. They are also very professional if you have any queries or requests upon arrival. I have been staying at this hotel since June 2019 since my son moved to Cardiff from Chesham in Bucks and I would not consider any other Travelodge location in Cardiff as this hotel always meets requests to have a room on the non M48 side. I have stayed there with my 2 godchildren from Zurich (aged 11 and 9 years old) and they loved the hotel room and remarked how lovely and patient the staff were during their stay as the children had been learning English for 4 months only. I have recommended this Travelodge to my friends and family in Mid and North Wales if they ever visit Cardiff.”

“Unfortunately for our stay the lifts didn't work also really enjoyed being woken up by people kicking and shouting to gain access to the service access point every morning”

“Dreadful. The main problem with Travelodge is that they use "no-reply" email addresses. Thiey also try to insist that those who book must give them a telephone number. Due to being deaf , I cannot make enquiries by telephone and furthermore, they force me to give them a false telephone number. They should stop using "no-reply" email addresses, and they should publish a central email address for all Travelodge. This does not have to be a separate email for each hotel: one email address at their headquarters would be sufficient.”

“Room for 2 bed made up but no duvet,it s on the floor in a bag.no drawers,not even a shelf,one chair for 2 guests.No info re area,eg cafes,restaurants pubs,places worth a visit.Half hour free wifi ! Then pay £3 NO TY.even supermarkets have free wifi.Never again,will stick with Days Inn,in future.”
