Have only just booked our stay in Ryde so cannot comment or review our stay. However, we decided on this Travelodge as the location is ideal. Previous stays in other Travelodges have been excellent and have no doubt our stay in Ryde will be just as good. Easy to make our booking and price very good.

After booking a telephone enquiry to the Travelodge was dealt with in a very helpful friendly manner. Cannot ask for more.

The website to book, in my opinion, was a little frustrating. The navigation from selecting dates to payment could be slicker and clearer.

Travelodge is a no fuss but fully comfortable hotel chain that I book on a regular basis.Their bigger rooms are a must but remember when you go away the hotel room is basically just to sleep in not live in.

Previously Travelodge has been a very good place to stay at a competitive price. HOWEVER, this time I booked a twin room on the website and when the invoice came to my email a double was listed. I rang the hotel who said they could not help and also the main office where I was told, equally unhelpfully, that I would need to pay a £10 fee to change to the twin. I explained I had pressed the buttons to book a twin online but this was not taken into consideration despite the fact I contacted the hotel and main office immediately the invoice came to my inbox. I have contacted the customer service email address explaining that my husband and I have to stay as we are seeing a social worker for my elderly aunt 91 who has been in hospital with a very severe infection but have only had the "we've got your message" response so far. You get 2 stars because we have happily stayed there before but no more as, due to the problem coming from your site [I have a screen print of a strange message that accompanied my request] and the fact we have stayed many times before I feel the £10 should be refunded - or a credit note for a future stay be given to us. The £10 would be very helpful as this could go towards petrol for our extra trip to see auntie - we live over 100 miles away. I have thus communicated by email and telephone.

I booked online. Their website unaccountably confirmed the booking for a different date. I called their helpline to get the date corrected - only to be told that it would cost me £50 to change the date!!!! Robbers!

Outrageous price differences for the same rooms depending on demand. This is extortion in my opinion.

Am gong due to wifes opertion we have stayd before and found the staff very good but problem is when booking when booking the breakfast with my wife in hospital the first night but still have to pay for her breakfast next day even tho she will not be at hotel in the morning so did not order any breakfast if have to will go to the cafe short walk up the road

Travelodge might have few hotels in a big city and having "Save" button can help users save few hotels at a time when they plan their trip. The App sometimes not working and I have to use webpage version to book.
