“We like Travelodge for the convenience of its locations and that it takes dogs. The staff have always been friendly and obliging, and the rooms are spacious. Some of the older properties although clean could do with a little tlc especially the bathroom areas. We will continue to use them as we find them great value for overnight stays.”

“It is a nice, new hotel. The decor and room are clean and modern. The receptionist was lovely - polite and courteous. The beds are reasonably comfortable but a bit hard - personal taste though! It is quiet (only speaking about first night! - another to go yet) but, the one thing that is really irritating is the huge, illuminated McDonalds sign right outside the window. Our room (family with 4 of us in it) was lit all night and the black out curtains do not block the light. Next time we will ask for a room on the other side!”

“Very happy with the process of booking online, and an excellent stay in Cockermouth. Everything, including the helpful staff was very good indeed, and it was a real bonus to be able to take the dog.”

“I was disappointed with my stay at Travelodge. My room was next to the corridor outer door and it was opening and slamming shut for most of the night. The soap dispenser was empty. There were no drinking glasses in the bathroom. The carpet was dirty and the wifi wasn't working properly.”

“Great central place to stay. Only downside is lack of parking. Great front desk service from staff who are friendly and welcoming with time to chat/pass the time of day. Room clean and spacious as was the bathroom. Picked a low rate night by chance which was a bonus.”

“Very hard work, the App asks to log in, tried 6 times, in the end had to change my password. Which did not work, for about 30 minutes, frustrating not an easy experience.”

“When we were browsing for somewhere to stay in Gainsborough you came up first which was great and being available for this Saturday was great too. Easy to book online and look forward to visiting Gainsborough.”
