“Travelodge product is good but the online reservation process is laborious. Made a booking for 5 night in 4 locations and had to make individual bookings taking almost half an hour. I have a log in so was surprised that the platform doesn't allow multiple bookings to be made before asking for one single payment. Premier Inn have been doing this for years.”

“Room comfortable, a few issues with stay: 1. Shower wash empty (replenished when I raised but too late for the shower I was taking) 2. A live cockroach (very small) in one of the towels (I reported to reception) 3. The AC not working (control locked out)”

“Great location. Excellent staff, very attentive and helpful. Bit noisy outside at nightime (early hours in morning) When we go to Birmingham again, this will most probably be our first choice (in fact it is as we are going back next May)”

“Great service at reception, can't remember name of the lass checking us in, but was very good and sorted us a cooler room from the start. Lisa was very nice on leaving and we definitely would stay here again.”

“Although I live in the Netherlands I do have an account at Travelodge because I frequently stay at one of your hotels. Unfortunately it appears to be impossible to book a room because of my ‘invalid postal code’. Yes: this may come as a surprise, but in the Netherlands we have different postal codes (sarcasm intended). What’s the use if having an account when you cannot use it to book a room? Apart from that: the hotels are pretty much OK.”

“Too much generic stuff about Travelodge. Not enough specific stuff - a map showing the location, customer reviews - and the search criteria keep resetting themselves. I got fed up having to type them in time and again.”

“The “paid parking” symbol on the photo to me indicated that parking was including with the stay. Turns out I was very wrong and should have paid the extra £4 for the premier inn which is 5 mins away and includes parking…”

“We have booked many times at the Wadebridge lodge and have found the booking system seamless and staff very friendly and helpful . The location is excellent for our needs . This time we are staying 8 nights and would love a larger room if possible .”
