“Receptionist welcoming, room spacious and clean, bed comfortable, shower powerful. However, the ceiling light constantly flickered and was unusable and the television did not work.”

“Pleased to see they have refreshed the inside. So much better than before. Staff are very good and very helpful. Only niggle is the lack of a working fan and a door that shuts in the bathroom”

“I found it difficult to book as lots of other companies include Travelodge, there is also an advert for Travelodge in Balloch using photos from your hotel in Dumbarton in advertising. I almost booked this bed and breakfast in error.”

“I've stayed at the Travelodge in Middlesbrough many times over the past 2 years. I've always had an enjoyable stay and the staff are brilliant. However, on my most recent stay, I had to ask to move rooms due to a noisy family next door. The next day, that family of 2 adults and 4 or 5 kids turned up at breakfast barefooted and in pyjamas at 11am. I've also noticed that prices have increased dramatically for future stays and are becoming unaffordable. Even more expensive than Premier Inn!”

“Not as good as usual. Tried to book my usual hotel in the way I always do, using my computer, but when I tried to book, the screen just stuck on "add extras". In the end, I made the booking from my phone.”

“Good value for money. Bed comfy but base a bit broken & tatty. Bathroom leaked water onto carpet at entrance. Did the job.”

“Guy on front desk when we checked in very helpfull. Stayed at hotel loads times never had problem but this time Bathroom door sticks to the point of i nearly pulled door handle of but the biggest thing was new thing cant use fire stix any moor yet i brought wifi couild not use it why cant we use fire stix ruined my trip as i couildt watch boxing As for the breakfast 5 out of 10 Orange juoce watery Asked for fyd eggs was told No you cant have any have scrambled Very sad serivce”

“Staff friendly and room clean but extractor fan in bathroom runs 24/7 which meant a bad nights sleep. Told reception who said it’s the same in all rooms wouldn’t stay at this one again for this reason. I’ve emailed customer services and not yet received a reply (this was only yesterday)”

“Stay 13/5 was ok except for the lack of tv channels, no BBC1 or 2 or BBC News or Sky News as a starter, otherwise good, room + bedding + bathroom clean.”
