“Staff nice, room clean, lots of hot water and liked that it had a bath as well as a shower. Unfortunately only 30mins free wifi for the whole of my stay which did not reflect the price of the room. Carpets and decor could do with an up grade.”

“Booking was the most difficult I’ve ever experienced on travelodge site When I got to the book and pay bit it kept going to the wallet and would not let me get past it. I don’t want to add cards to wallet so don’t know if this was Apple or Travelodge. Anyway after over an hour and half I used my husbands phone and managed to book!!”

“Room great and would have been 5 stars but hardly got any sleep during to drunks running about banging on doors which the night staff should have done something about. Spoiled the following day as was shattered. For the price I paid, would at the least expect a night's sleep.”

“I found it impossible to book a family room for 2 people, the only way to get two beds, I had to pretent there are 3 people before the option of a family room appears on the booking form.”

“Tried 4 times to add early check in via internet didn't work? Forced to phone @ 13p pm + network charges to arrange early check in cost £2.24 from my network .. arrived at Travelodge no early check-in had been included .. prepaid horizon £10.15 for parking at Travelodge . No parking spaces available .. told by hotel manager go somewhere else and pay ... Not very helpful? You need to coordinate with horizon for this problem to arise again?”

“It was ok. Bathroom smelt like there was a drain problem, no soap in the dispenser either. The mirror in the main room plus windows were obviously dirty.”

“St Austell Branch. Annoying that bookings have to be made on the website and not on site. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Not their fault that the lift is out of order. Heavy luggage had to be dragged up the stairs. Ethan very kindly assisted with carrying them up. One of the cleaners helped me back down. Site very clean inside. Breakfast a bit of a faff as the water pressure drop caused the hot and cold dispensers to stop working and you have to find a member of staff to reset them.”

“The staff were great and very helpful and the breakfast was good however on arrival with nowhere to leave the car you have to first book in and then get your parking details. We had to change the room three times until we got a card that opened the door admittedly just a technical issue, the room was comfortable although the bathroom had a well used feel to it, a whole in the bathroom door that looked to have been from a punch the bathroom did look as though it needs a thorough deep clean and a new toilet seat as it did look off colour from its original white finish.”

“Great hotel, to many kids they should put them on one side of the hotel, dog owners should be on bottom rooms only… the tv reception is shocking ( crap) interference…. The wifi should be free…. The staff are super friendly”

“I am in Ireland and the site kept asking me for a UK postcode. I exited in and out of the site 4 times to see if I could get it to recognise the fact I was not in the UK. In the end I put in my sons UK postcode so I could finish my booking. I found it all very frustrating and was at the point of choosing a different hotel. Please sort it out.”

“I hope the lift is working this time!! Very expensive for a room in Glossop, but you can get away with it as there is nowhere else to stay, price shot up from last week.”
