“a lot of potential customers arent tied to dates or places, so when travelodge send you an email about £38 rooms it would be good to be able to browse the places that are £38, not have to decide where we'd like to go and find rooms are £154 (eg Bath), or spend forever looking through several destinations and dates before giving up. theyd sell a lot more rooms.”

“Whilst the rooms that Travelodge offer are competitive, a lot of the hotel stock, certainly the cheaper ones, are looking tired and in need of some investment and TLC. When you collect your key from reception and your handed a door key and a fob to access the corridors that serve the room, your heart sinks, rather reminiscent of travelling back to a motel in the 80’s.”

“Selecting a particular Travelodge is fairly straightforward once you've entered your preferred dates and area. It would be even easier if one could select a few locations from the long list to compare in more detail. Once you have made your choice, the booking process doesn't allow you an easy way to make a specific room request, such as not the top two floors, or we prefer the rear of the building. It seems that you have to make a separate phone call to do this. This is poor.”

“Some of the pages had trouble remembering that I was logged in and it took quite a lot of clicks and patience to make my booking. It's possible that my connection was partly to blame but other webpages were loading fine and I've had this trouble before with Travelodge. It wouldn't deter me from using the site.”

“I have been asked to wait for 3 hrs for early check in as no rooms are ready. This is really inconvenient after a tiring and long journey of 24 hrs!! Please be considerate towards your customers and allow check in for people who would like to rest and change after multiple flight changes and a 24 hr journey!!”
