“Rooms are so clean”

“Great location, clean and tidy with friendly staff. Unfortunately all the English breakfast was cold despite being under a lamp. So probably wouldn’t pay for that again.”

“Mostly great value & comfort but on the odd occasion something not quite what you’re expecting. Their range of hotels vary from the very old to the brand spanking new so there is going to be some little bits of shabbiness in some of the establishments. This is exceptable if the price reflects the condition.”

“Biking is quite straight forward however we are both pensioners and whist active for our age would prefer a groundfloor room. You don't have a section for preferred room merely accessible.”

“A brand that continues to be consistent on every visit that I had with them. The new budget luxe rooms are a welcome refresh of the rooms that bring it up to date and exceed's other hotel brands on value and comfort. The new site locations to the brand, tend to feature air-con, which is a must for me if the air temp is more than 20c outside during the day. Otherwise, I am likely to have a hot night under the covers... and all by myself! Using the best price finder is a unique tool that I use if I need to stay in an area, but happy to be flexible on exact location. Overall Travelodge, please continue to deliver on your strengths in the market. And air con in today's ago is a must for all your hotels, no debate! Travelodge is a brand i respect and certainly the only brand in the budget category (that includes Premier Inn) that I will stay at. Full Stop! Finally, don't forget your roots and what you stand for. Your staff are critical to your success. All hotels are made from bricks and mortar... but it is the people you employ turn these bricks to gold...”

“The Travelodge was fine; it seemed to have been newly painted and the bathroom had been refurbished. The only reason I have marked it as 4 - starred, is that, along with all Travelodges nowadays, the lighting is so low that one cannot read or write papers. How are business travellers able to prepare for meetings or write up notes afterwards? I feel you must lose many people travelling for work over this issue. This particular Travelodge had no lighting above the desk, which was in front of a window. That was fine during daylight hours, but an annoyance in the evening. The staff were helpful, as always, and the beds were comfortable. We would stay again.”

“I had to try several times before securing a booking,one thing draw my attention being that on each attept I made there was price changes for the same requirement even though in small amounts. Regards Altay Tuzuner”

“Booking went fine. Payment terrible, took ages. Kept being pushed into Apple & Google pay. So l have installed the Travelodge App. Hopefully with your app & my Bank app it will improve.”
