“Pride Park Derby Travelodge is not as good as other Travelodges. Staff were fine but breakfast wasn't as good as other places. there was no decent coffee available, only the cheapest of the cheap instant rubbish because the machine was broken. Then no juice glasses. no milk. no baked beans. had to wait for all these to be replenished. Sausages were dried up and rock hard. Not impressed that there was a parking charge. Will stay somewhere else next time we're in Derby. Deedee was very helpful. Showed us our room to check it was okay first.”

“1 star review for booking experience is due to that I 1st checked availability and price on Saturday. £57. Double checked on Sunday now £68. Had to wait till Monday to book as needed to confirm time off work. Came to book on Monday and guess what now £78.99.”

“No air conditioning, rude staff, no printed receipt upon request, no respect of the do not disturb sing at the door, floor and chair not clean, water from the bathroom sink comes out in such an manner that you get literally wet everywhere.”

“Me and the girlfriend booked 2 nights at the Travelodge and there was a couple of things we weren’t happy with, parking was a major issue, for the first day and night we had to park 10 mintues away from the actual hotel, we was situated on the top floor with a window that only open 2 inches, it was very very hot in our room which made sleeping uncomfortable, the bed wasn’t very comfortable and the room was tiny which felt more like a prison cell than a hotel room we won’t be staying here again.”

“I have always used travelodge to stay when travelling. I have booked 3 nights stay over August bank holiday for the last 10 years, I always book when rooms are released. I have never paid more than £180 in th3 past. This year the cost of the stay has never dropped below £365. I appreciate after COVID you have to recoup some of your losses but to double the cost of staying at your hotel especially in these financially hard times for people has made m3 think again about staying with travelodge. You should look at your pricing especially for early bird bookers ( 10 months in advance )”

“It would be helpful if you had a map with Travelodge locations on it so I can plan my journey accordingly. Little Chef used to do this and it made life a lot easier, especially if I don't know the names of towns I'll be passing through. Other than that I would have given 5* I prefer my Travelodges because the staff are always pleasant and helpful.”
