“A truly disgusting outfit. Held me to ransom over testimonials that my clients had sent to me and which they then posted on Trustpilot. Trustpilot trying to claim that they own the reviews and I cannot post my clients testimonials on my business page! They placed a ‘alert’ on the Trustpilot page saying that my business was misusing their brand!! Vile people!”

“I made several genuine reviews on this site with customer and order numbers in the original posts and even had responses from the companies concerned. These reviews were then removed because they 'did not comply with company policy'. The site is a scam if they are scrubbing off genuine negative reviews.”

“TrustPilot makes up evidence to allow bad reviews to be posted after "find reviewer" option is used. I faked a review of my own to find this out and trustpilot had failed me 100%”

“trustpilot are ok until you put a bad review on about one of their buddies, I tried to do an honest review about buzz tv stick but the kept asking for proof that I actually owned one, so I scanned all my receipts regarding my purchase but according to them this wasnt enough and requested a reference number of some description that was requested by buzz tv. As I had no idea what they wanted as I had no reference number, I can only assume that they were making it difficult to put a bad review about a company which they had some sort of interest in. so I will not try to use their platform again and would advise others not to either.”

“I have written two reviews before on Trust Pilot about my experience on Psychic Sofa and also Spareroom. Both companies had my reviews removed. Trust Pilot told me they need proof I purchased a Psychic reading on Psychic Sofa. That wasn't good enough they then sent an email saying they needed a search engine photo that I actually used Psychic Sofa. I didn't see the email in time and had 3 days to reply or they will remove my review. They removed it. As far as I'm concerned Trust Pilot shouldn't even be called Trust Pilot it is a scam crook of a company robbing honest customers of a place they can speak their truth. To prevent new customers from being scammed by a company. It really isn't fair. I hope one day the law steps in to put a stop to this evil corrupt company. If you want to leave a review on a company I recommend a website called Site Jabber link: sitejabber.com I left my review on there after I complained Spareroom had my review taken down on Trust Pilot, and re-posting my original review on Site Jabber. Trust Pilot responded to my review on there and I bet they were annoyed lol when Site Jabber had my back if they tried to get it removed on there too.”

“They are just a scam review website Ok so here goes, you get scammed by a company... you want to write about your bad experience on somewhere people can see and know not to do business with such companies... you write on TrustPilot... your review gets pulled! Every damn time, then they try to tell you its some "automated crap" its not! Companies can pay them for likes, what good is that to a fair consumer market? TrustPilot should be forced to rebrand to DoNotTrustPilot.”

“Trust pilot essentially gets its customers by blackmailing business into taking out their service, they let business be created on their site and then allow anything to be posted to the profile, its impossible to get a review taken down no matter what is said on a free account, it doesnt matter to them what is said I assume this improves dramatically if you sign up to the quite silly subscription price.”

“They randomly ban you from writing reviews, which happenned to me without any reason or notice. After watching a BBC documentary I learned companies can pay them to vet the good reviews out. So it all makes sense if thats their bussiness model...”

“I placed a review about a building company which was not favourable they have come back with a personnel attack on me and my husband and you allowed it to be shown surely if I give an opinion on work carried out by a company I should not be subjected to this type of attack and lies written about me. It is libellous as recently a reviewer took someone to court as they posted a false review this works both ways why aren't the item posted checked for content. I intend to take the same action. and see about suing for libel.”

“How utterly horrendous and untrustworthy, I left a review, the company (Vestiaire) replied, Trustpilot removed the review apparently it seemed shady to them, I supplied them with evidence, like my account, my order, the reply the company also sent to my email (the same as I have on Trustpilot) with the reference number... Trustpilot does not reply, so I think they should be UntrustworthyPilot”

“I think trustpilot are biased, and are all for the seller and company's not the buyer or customer. I left a genuine honest review about Onbuy.com, and Hermes. Thankfully PayPal have investigated and got me my money back after dealing with these dreadful companies they don't respond and totally ignore you, little like Trustpilot. quite apparent they only ever seem to let the odd review go live for obvious reasons.”

“As corrupt as Zavvi the company I've reviewed badly. Triustpilot removed my review of Zavvi & said it had been flagged by Zavvi. I entered everything including the order number. Corruption is clearly rife all over the Internet why would trustpilot be any different.”
