I tried to post a good review about a company I purchased shoes from and they took it down because their software thought it was fake. That is stupid. Your survey company sucks.

Posted a negative review of a company. TrustPilot removed the review claiming that it harmed the business's good reputation. I had evidence to back up everything I said in the review, but TrustPilot removed it simply because it was negative, and the business asked them to.

Trustpilot = DONT TRUSTPILOT Had verbal and written confirmation of my renewal contract price (which I proved to them) and they have now reneged, stating that they have grown and have a higher demand for their services and therefore cost have gone up. I was paying for a LITE package at £780 p/a for several years (which I paid in advance each year). They wanted £4,800 for this year of 2017. It has gone up 4 times of the original cost !!!! They then offered a reduced cost to £3000 p/a which is still 3 times the original cost. I understand prices increase but this much !! They are just trying to sell the dream of the advantages of being with them and not looking at the fact of a long standing client. It appears that TrustPilot are not as customer focused as you may think and their try to appear . If they are selling the idea of an open forum and review platform for genuine customers to voice their opinions of other businesses utilizing their services.....then surely TrustPilot need to take into account of their own actions and how existing clients are treated ! I look forward to TrustPilot honoring their agreement....but dont hold out much hope ! UPDATE - 26.10.17 Had reply for TP - they are still missing the point - I want THE SAME PACKAGE I have had for years - I do not want to upgrade....I dont want to be upsold just to provide me with the same agreed costs and service !! UPDATE - 27.10.17 - 17:16pm TP still dont get the point - I have been offered the LITE package and its functions - That is what I agreed to and wanted. TP tried to upsell myself to Pro which I did not want and simply wanted. Instead of trying to take my review offline by advising me to contact the agent - why not TP simply pick up the phone and call me and HONOR your agreement ? TP are simply trying to back track on my contract and increase charges by offering higher packages that are not required. You still have the LITE package in service which I was offered at £1800 (I have just received an updated quote). So the package is still in service. BTW - This account is for 8 stores and I have another part of the business which I use all the same functions required at £780.00......so you cant tell me you dont offer that package and service anymore?? Absolutely Awfwl Service.....quiet simply TrustPilot want to upsell and not honor their longstanding customers agreements !!

Crammed full of fake reviews, half of which aren't even written in proper English with odd names of people or just bland names.

Used Trust Pilot to write a less than favourable review about Gigaclear broadband provider, all of which was factual having done quite some investigation via email and phone calls to solicitors around Gigaclears permanent wayleave. Anyway long story short, Gigaclear complained and the review was removed citing it didn’t meet Trust Pilots policy on reviews......astonishing, as it now appears a company logs a complaint and review removed even though it was absolutely factual and could be proved which I offered. I now find myself leaving a bad review about a review company, I wonder if they understand irony?

Trustpilot shields some of the companies from bad reviews. In my case this happened with a shady Chinese company SheIn (which I gave 2 stars - for being able to return their junk): 1. When writing the review there's a field for "order #", however with no indication this is mandatory for the review to be published. I didn't fill it up. 2. They contacted me saying the publication has been put on hold until I provide the order no. I sent it to them. 3. After that I got this response: "Unfortunately, what you have sent is not enough for our process. If you could send us a PDF file, screenshot or forward email of proof of purchase, for example an e-mail from the company containing the order number, your name/email address, the date and the company name/logo that would be great." Now you know on who's side the Trustpilot is. And btw. SheIn is junk, don't waste your money with them.

I complained to Trustpilot that a company was advertising that it had a higher rating than existed on the Trustpilot website. My experience with this company was as bad as it gets. They advised my complaint was closed and did nothing. Trust "Trustpilot"?-no!! Just another devious and dishonest internet company that had found a way to make money and will take no action against their paying "customers" no matter what the complaint.

I reviewed a website on their platform which is a scam and they complained to trust pilot and had my review removed. This website I reviewed is nothing short of an ID scam and they will also scam money from you, but trustpilot will let fake positive reviews be made. All the website in question has to do is tell them to remove the review and they will. Trustpilot are not to be trusted ay all.

the reviews are bogus - not certain what their business model is but it appears they may get many bogus negative reviews and then charge businesses to remove the negative reviews!!! Just my take.

Trustpilots website shows Harrods as poor, Marks & Spencer as bad, John Lewis as bad, Selfridges as bad and we know they are four of the best companys. If you examine the categorys these company's are in you will see that they are not inviting reviews, which means that they have not joined Trustpilot. Strangely the company's at the top of any category have all joined and the ones at the bottom haven't which make the rating and percentage meaningless. It is a flawed business model. This website should be called untrustworthy pilot. Unless you join you will get trashed, just look at Harrods.

I totally agree, they are fraudulent. They have created a Trust Pilot page for my business after I had many sales calls and said no to subscribing to them. They have put negative reviews on my business, then ring me again to charge me £1000 a month to give me access to put it right. Its a big fat con, and the sales people are arrogant and abusive if you do not take out their packages. They don't take no for an answer & keep on calling, had to block thier number! Do not trust do not touch, beware.

They deleted my review of Kiwi.com saying that the transaction happened 14 months ago, and that they only accepted negative reviews which happened in last 12 months

I was looking for a car dealer. There's a very very dodgy one in my area - all the locals know - yet on TrustPilot it was right near the top of their league table with average 9.3 starts (out of ten)! At the very bottom of the league table - 120th -scoring just 1 point is no less than Mercedes Benz! I since found out that companies near the top of the list all pay TrustPilot substantial amounts of money.
