“I made an online order, 7 days go by with no updates. I email the customer service and nobody responds. Today I got an sms saying my order has been canceled. This is the most disappointing online shopping experience and the worst customer service as nobody seems to respond to emails. I have no idea when I will be refunded or why my order was canceled. I even phoned in advance and asked them to keep cash aside for me but no joy. Staff say they are unable to refund to my credit card. “Yoh online shopping it's bad, you would expect to get all your products here, but ever since I don't know when, there were certain product I wanted to buy last year but coundnt get a size m telling u even this year nothing changed, same clothes, same sizes no other sizes, same prices even when they say it's sale. “I ordered something for mothers day, even though the order is currently with the courier company in Johannesburg, the person answering the phone for Truworths just says it is impossible to deliver by Tuesday, even though I ordered the item on Saturday already. How can it take more than 3 days to deliver an item to Pretoria, from Johannesburg?? “I went to Truworth Highveld mall on Sunday the 16th and when purchasing they swiped my card only for them to say they are offline and they said the money that went out on my account will reverse and it didn't and when I go to the bank the bank said Truworths has to refund me and I went there again they told me to send the bank statement and I did and still am not receiving my money and it's being 6 days now. I never experienced such bad service 😕”
“I have been a loyal customer for more than 20years. My payments are always on time and I always it off in 2 or 3 months although my account is over 9 months. On 27th March I wanted to purchase something at Truworths Zevenwacht only to be informed that my account has been blocked. I was so shocked because this has never happened before. I asked them why this was happening and their answer was " it happens sometimes".They then wanted to call the Head Office but I was in a hurry so I said no. It was the most embarrassing moment because there were lots of people behind me. I am closing my account.”
“Please I beg you, don’t get an account here, they scam you. After you signed with them you realize that you will pay extra expenses for example Hollard insurance. I just have this account to get my credit up to buy a car. Will not recomend even to my wort enemy. Very shady and scam you into paying for things you did not agree to. And don’t think you can call head office they very arrogant and shady. I never agree to take out insurance on my card now I have to waist money on insurance for a card I will just have until I qualify for a car.”
